Friendly team super easy and fast
Came in and bought a Hyundai sonata had a wonderful experience. Faisal and Mohammed were super helpful and made everything go very smoothly and fast. Would highly recommend this dealership and loved the customer service and timeliness of the whole process.

Esmeralda Garcia is the best! I worked with her on selling my mother-in-law's Hyundai Sonata to the dealership. She was super responsive and great to work with. I would definitely work with Esmeralda again for any future car buying.

Maria and Gerardo were great others were horrible
I would be very careful when purchasing a vehicle from the dealership. They offer a dealer discount of $5599 but add things to the invoice without you knowing to eat up the discount so you don’t see the full discount. This dealership is a SCAM. Will take my business to a different dealership. Buyers beware.

I came into this dealership expecting another nightmare experience, like I had at other Houston area dealerships. Sterling McCall Hyundai changed that for me, The mangers and service staff were very helpful and kind. Rude staff
Most inefficient dealer in Houston. A low grade customer service and rude staff. I had a call from the dealer to pick up my number plate. I stopped in the morning on my way to work. I asked the person at service center for help. He said he has nothing to do with it. I asked him who should I ask. He said I dont know. I asked few other people, including sales manager. I had to leave after 45 minutes without any help. Horrible place

Worst service department ever
My nightmare from hell is never ending, dealing with subpar repairs from these folks. It all started with a faulty engine due to oil consumption. After finally car dying on me for engine problems, I had my car towed February 28th, as I write this review September 5th. Car is still at their shop. From the very beginning I was promised a loaner car, but that was a lie. Their service manager Mark, flat out told me, they would be loosing money by providing me with a loaner. I had no choice but to rent my own. I am now 6k deep, in rentals, towing, rideshare. I pick up my car June 27th, but only take it home to park, being that I had already extended rental & conflict with work schedule, I would not be able to return rental back till July 3rd. Come 4th of July, on my way to work, I end up on the side of 59, missing work, and stranded, till roadside show up. Tow back to Sterling. This time, sales Manger assisted in putting me in loaner car. I also found loose screws in my trunk & by my windshield. In addition to missing screws from under hood. I pointed out to sale guy and took pictures. Fast forward to September 5th, time to pick up my car. I find a battery behind passenger side, sitting on the floor board, filthy gressy inside driver side door handle, & same screws holds missing screw from July. Nobody in service department know anything & told me to return back in the AM. I left my car there & took back loaner. Heather their service manager was in a rush to leave on her extended 3 day weekend, and Juan, possibly manager as well only handed the guys my paperwork to sign. Prior to pickup, I advised Troy, whom called me to advise car was ready, that I expected show room floor, white glove service at pick up. That was not the case. Yes, I have pictures and a case file of all work performed at this so called dealership. I am going into my 7th month of not having my car.

Poor service
This dealership was my 1st choice dealer to service my 2017 Sonata. Until, I started to experience oil consumption issues due to Hyundai lack of quality engines. Being that my car was out of warranty Hyundai USA, only wanted to pay 60% of repair cost towards a new engine. With that being said, I spent many many months of oil consumption test and many days and hours at the dealership. These weekly trip took a toll on my well being. However I did my part in meeting the requirements. Fast forward to the time, I finally had to have my vehicle towed to sterling mccall. Once my vehicle was at the dealership all that friendly service, soon became a nightmare. 1st off, I was promised a loaner car, from the onset of these oil consumption. That promise became an empty promise month to month, to the point, that I was flat out told, since I did not have warranty, they (sterling mccall), would not be making any money off giving me a loaner, since they would be doing it off good faith. But that their loaner cars were 1st priority to the warranty folks!! I could not believe that Mark would flat out tell me that. Secondly, service advisor Johnny lacked in providing any updates. I had my vehicle towed end of Feb & did not get my car back till June 28th. I questioned the condition of my tires, been that my car has sat in this Houston heat waiting on repairs. I was told that was something I would have to take up with Hyundai USA. Also, when I asked about the warranty on the engine replacement, I was told, there was none!! My car was dirty when I picked it up and very black either oil on the inside door panel. Mind you, I had to pay out of pocket for towing and rental since March. Sterling McCall did nothing to try and help during this very long time of my vehicle being in their possession. Not even a simple "Sorry"!!!
I did end up filing a complaint with Hyundai USA to pay for the repairs. However, I am still out of pocket for the rental since March & towing.
I also verified with Hyundai USA, about the warranty, since they stated all repairs done by a Hyundai dealership carry a warranty and it's outlined in my owners manual. So somebody at sterling mccall, May need to verify information given, before misleading us consumers. A follow-up from the GM at Sterling McCall, would be nice.

Service department does not honor appointments
I made am appointment to have a recall for fire hazard completed on my 2013 Hyundai Elantra that I purchased new from Sterling McCall Hyundai. On the first appointment they brought my car in and came back stating they do not fuse to address the recall. They then stated brakes are in the yellow and suggest they do full service and brake repair. I know the brakes were still okay and refused the upsell service. At this time rescheduled appointment for the recall. Showed up doe the service and they said they are not able to do the fire hazard recall. They knew prior to both appointments they were not able to perform the service and failed to call me to cancel the appointment. I lost time off work and travel costs and they did not care.

3+ hour wait for a scheduled oil change
I have purchased all Hyundai’s since moving to Texas.

However, the service has always been awful. Mark is a great guy! I don’t understand why the department always seems in shambles!

Advisors NEVER provide updates unless you hound them via phone or walk up to the desk. They always have the same excuses; we’re moving to a different location, or, we’re understaffed, or we’re really busy. I literally do not care - just fix the issue and in the meantime make it right- offer a complimentary service, something! Show that you actually value your customers because what you guys do now, does not show it.

A scheduled oil change should NEVER take more than 30 minutes.

My service advisor NEVER provided an update for me the entire 3 hours I was there UNTIL I flagged him down.

I don’t understand why the lack of communication AND extremely long time to service my car still continues.

I even spoke to the new service manager- all she did was apologize and say that the company is aware of the “issues”. I’m sorry but that’s either a lie or they know and literally don’t care about a 3+ hour wait for an oil change- and I know I wasn’t the only one this happened to, today.

these issues have been going on for YEARS.

If an appointment is scheduled, the service should start soon afterwards, not 2 hours and 45 minutes after.

Great Service and Professionalism
Carlos Joya made the experience laid back and seamless. We had gone to other dealerships, and they were pushy and intimidating. It wasn't a good experience. Carlos answered all of our questions about a preowned vehicle and was patient as we looked it over with a fine-tooth comb. I just want to really thank Carlos for the excellent experience yesterday and he should be commended for it.

so thankful to find a great car dealership.
This dealership helped us today to purchase a new car and they made the often-dreaded ordeal very easy. They honored a price we had been offered at a different dealership after that car was sold before we could get to it. They were very friendly and professional in all our correspondence and helped the whole process go smoothly! Big thank you to Aaron Galvan and Johnny for all their help!
