Terrible Customer Service
I purchased a used 2020 Grand Jeep vehicle on December 30, 2024 seemed to be in good condition from the test drive
I haven't been in this vehicle for a month and I keep having a check engine light issue. I have taken the vehicle to the repair shop at this delaership literally less than a week after purchasing and was told by the service manager that everything was checked out with no issues on January 3, 2025
3 days ago the check engine reappeared with a code reading of a misfire on cylinder 3. I called the service manager twice and was told because I purchased this vehicle "As Is" any repairs would be my responsibility. I was told I can bring it in for them to look at it, but they will not repair it at no cost. What kind of business serves a client a product knowing there's a issue that's blind. Sounds like someone just reset the check engine light to really cover up an issue that was already there to begin with. If anyone can help me with the "lemon law" statues please do because this has turned into a complete nightmare. If this is not resolved I will definitely recommend nobody to this establishment. Stay away!

Performed car maintenance
On 12/27/2024 we purchased a 2017 Honda Civic from Tameron Hyundai. We have put 300 miles on since pu The maintenance records provided by the dealership stated that certain things had been done. I took the car to a reliable, trustworthy mechanic and was told I was lied to. I reached out to the dealership to inform them of my findings. Walt Lee ( used car sales manager) wanted to argue as to if the issues I brought to his attention had in fact been addressed. Walt agreed to make it right and verify if the records were correct and if not do the right thing. I showed up on 1/16/2025 and met with Mr. Lee. Mr. Lee agreed to have the vehicle alignment checked ( due to excessive wear on the inside of the tire). Mr. Lee continued to state that a 4 wheel alignment had been completed. Mr. Lee returned with a printout that stated the toe on the right side of the vehicle was out of alignment. ( manufacturer tolerance was-.008 to .008)… but not by much ( actual reading -.18) I told him that it shouldn’t be out by any… since they had completed an alignment prior to selling us the car. Mr. Lee continued to argue about the service being completed prior to the sale of the vehicle. He told me that it had been done and that it’s ok, and walked away from me. If you are to purchase a used vehicle from this group…. Buyer beware. They may claim certain things have been done… but in fact have not.

Dishonest
I had a deeply frustrating experience at Tameron Hyundai. I visited on July 12th, found a Nissan, and clearly communicated to salesman Matthew Johnson that I had a pre-approved loan and did not want to finance through anyone else. Despite this, when I returned to finalize the purchase on July 15th, I was kept waiting for hours and ended up with a higher APR than expected.

To my dismay, I later discovered that the dealership used a different bank, not my pre-approved lender, resulting in a much higher interest rate. This lack of honesty and transparency is especially troubling in today's tough financial climate, where trust is crucial for large purchases.

I attempted to resolve the issue, including canceling gap insurance and repeatedly contacting manager Chayse Fuller, who failed to respond. Despite promises from other staff, my calls and emails were ignored, and the situation remained unresolved for weeks.

After refinancing with the correct bank at a lower rate, the dealership committed to refunding the amount paid for the gap insurance. However, despite this commitment, the refund has still not been processed. The overall experience of poor communication and dishonesty has been deeply disappointing. I would not recommend Tameron Hyundai based on my experience.

Great Service on my hybrid/ Tucson
I came in recently for service. Brian was my service advisor He was very friendly, efficient and a great communicator. Also, most importantly, my car was ready when promised. In five years, this is my fourth automobile purchase from Tameron. Both Brian, the Service Coordinator and Citron in the Sales Department are definitely Pros!!

Both times they did an excellent job. They kept me informed of the progress & I have had no problems after repairs. Definitely reccommend them.

Tameron Hyundai / Matt Johnson
I came in on March 1st late in the afternoon while a steady rain was falling. Matt came out in the rain very quickly and invited us in to better search the inventory for my desired vehicle. We quickly identified a few choices and quickly looked at the vehicles. He took us for a great test drive and was very friendly and helpful but not is a pushy away when we left to go look somewhere else at other vehicles. He is a great salesperson. I really appreciated his help.

Aggressive sales tactics! They try and get you to sign a contract even when you say that you are just looking. Go to another dealership!

Would give zero if possible
DO NOT purchase from them or any of their affiliate dealerships.
In September my daughter’s car died. My dad & daughter began a search for a used vehicle. They found a 2014 Ford Edge SEL. Carfax was clear, price was good, car was in great condition….or so it appeared. They test drove it and liked it. They began the process of purchasing this car. It was $16 with fees, etc. My daughter had $4k to put down and they were telling her that her payments were going to be $600/month for 5 years. That brings the car total to $36k even though she was going to be able to put down 25%. (This should have been ?#1.) It was decided that a cash payment would be made for the entire vehicle instead of financing it. When they went to pay for the vehicle (cashiers check in hand) the Ford was not on the lot. They asked about it and the sales guy said it needed an ABS (brake system) module and that they would “fix it”. He said “we’ll make this right and you can drive this 2024 Hyundai in the mean time. Fast forward almost a month and they want this loaner vehicle back and her car is NOT fixed. My daughter had already gotten the title, paid the tax on it and gotten a license plate. They told her that they would not be giving her another car to drive and they needed the loaner back but couldn’t tell her when her car, that she owns, will be fixed. We made damn sure she got another “loaner” and she drove off. Fast forward almost another month and the car still wasn’t fixed, sitting at the Ford dealership in Hoover with NO ABS module. My dad went to the Ford dealership and spoke to the service tech that was trying to work on it and he was able to get more infor from them than Tameron. Tameron fraudulently sold my daughter a car that should have NEVER been on the lot, let her and my dad drive in a vehicle with bad braking system (that could have ended catastrophicly) and ended up buying the car back from her bc they couldn’t get the parts for it. NOW this SAME FORD EDGE is back on the lot at Tameron Hyundai for $2k more than they sold it to her! This has been a cluster at best. They were clowns, tried to bully my kid into leaving the dealership without a car to drive (told her she needed to choose another car or get her $ back at 4:30 on a weeknight) and her sold a DANGEROUS vehicle. I will never recommend them to anyone! #TameronHyundai #fraud #shadybusinesspractices

Taking advantage of/stereotype
I schedule an appointment with Hyundai, 2nd appointment since I had the car. My car had a little over 21,000 miles. My extended warranty had expired 1 month prior. I asked if they can make an exception. The manager was sitting down he took one look at me and ask another employee to take care of me. Did not get up , , did not introduced himself, did not shake my hand , no social skills. They did not extend my warranty. They said that I had $366 worth of maintenance that the car needed. I was surprised b/c I have been taking the car to express oil change . And I trust them. I left there feeling like I was taking advantage of financially. Did the car needed all this maintenance? I’ve only purchased 2 cars there and I won’t be buying any at Hoover Hyundai dealership.
(Really they originally told me that the car needed more maintenance that cost more than $400. I declined and asked them what type of maintenance it needed now. To reduce the price. Trusting that they will be honest with me.)

Do you think if I was a man they would have treated me that way?
I am a professional independent women and I make my own money.
I don’t appreciate being stereotype.
