Billy Sun Preys on the Elderly

DO NOT BUY FROM THE CROOKS AT Tameron Hyundai. These heartless fools prey on elderly customers. They sold my parents a car that had been returned or otherwise compromised. It had close to 150 miles on it and the new car smell was completely gone replaced with a heavy deodorizer smell consistent with what you would expect from Budget Rent A Car. Then they called back because they failed to get a document signed but refused to disclose what document that was - likely the acknowledgement of no cooling off period. Then upon alerting to the issue of the deodorizer, they did not have another vehicle in the same color, so wanted to charge more to upgrade to the next trim level to get the color they wanted. They refused to cancel the deal and give my mom her traded car back with down payment. My mom is in tears right now as we speak. These people are crooks and prey on the elderly. Despicable company! DO NOT USE THEM!

Poor Customer Service

I test drove a vehicle with Alfonso Houston. He was not knowledgeable about the vehicle, did not engage with our needs, and was not personable. Due to this poor customer service experience, I will not be purchasing a vehicle from Tameron or recommending it to anyone.

Bad customer service for 2nd time.

I have bought a car from Tameron Hyundai in 2013 Years back when they were servicing my car for an oil change, they told me I needed new brakes. Told them I will be back cause did not have time, but the truth was I had changed brakes my self 3 weeks prior. Did not want to confront them just decided to never use them again. Well I decided to try them again today because my wife said I need to be forgiving,pull in for a service and the guy tells me they can’t help me because they are really busy and I might need to try another mechanic if I am in a rush for a service,was shocked they turned down a customer. Well never again I will deal with Tameron Hyundai, and I will make sure everyone that follow me on social media knows it too.

$1500 upcharge on an already ordered car

I ordered a Telluride in January from this group. I negotiated the options and price over several days. My wife and I were required to sign the contract and send a deposit. Now that it's built, I'm told we will have to pay $1500 more. How is that right?

Think twice before ordering from this group.

Bad experience.

I am very disappointed with the dealership in Hoover, AL. My first interaction was with a salesman Kevin. He started off very well like all salesmen. I had a 2019 Titan that I was going to trade in. They did not have the car I was looking for; so I settled for one that was close to what I wanted. It took so long to get me a price I had to leave. I ask the Kevin to just email me the information; that was on a Friday. It is Monday and I still did not get a response on the car or the trade in. I went to Nissan today (Monday) and sold my truck. The sale person ask what am I getting next. I told him the Sonata hybrid limited. He told me to talk with his friend John @ Tameron. I talk with John and told him how I was treated the first time I was there. He stated that is not the way they do business. I went down there again only to be treated worst. We agreed on a price, but the new car was dirty with pollen and bug stain on it. I told Kevin that I was going to get the check and when I return I will review the car when it is clean and the mud guard on it.

I made it back with the check. They wanted me to sign and take the car. I told them that I want to see the car clean before I sign. The manager John did not like that I said I want to see the car clean. He said they will clean it once I sign because that mean you are serious. I told him going and getting this check is serious. John got up and said "that check don't mean anything". He told "Kevin to don't take any sticker off and show him the car. We don't detail." They sprayed water on it to remove some of the pollen not the bug stain and left the inside still with grass in it. The trunk had scratch marks. That let me know that the manager is correct my official check did not mean anything and they don't need my business. I feel so sorry for people that are in need and have to take crap like this from a manager that has forgot it is the customer the reason you have a job. Hey you can thank John Pettyway for letting me know Tameron don't hold a very high standard of there vehicles.

Will not treat you well

Purchased a used car. Next day brake lights came on. A few days later we take to our trusted mechanic thinking it’s just minor brake lights. 2,700.00 repair estimate and told unsafe to drive.
Call Tameron and they picks up car and keep for a week and acknowledges problem and acts like they will help with repair.
Tameron Returns to our mechanic and continues to act like they will help with cost.
After repeated calls just given the run around.
Not a good experience.
