Unhappy with “new car”purchase.
We purchased a 2022 Kona which was displayed on the showroom floor. We assumed (our mistake) that it would have minimal mileage. Didn’t need to test drive it as we previously had driven a different one. Turns out it had 4,539 miles on it. Hardly making it a new car. Salesman was unaware of the mileage. No adjustment in price or warranty. We felt we were misled in thinking we were buying a new car instead we bought a used car at sticker price. The fact that it was previously untitled is insignificant.

I have a 2020 Accent which I bought new and I always schedule my car for service within the mileage. I had service scheduled and the dealership canceled on me claiming Covid as their excuse. They rescheduled for over a month out even though I told them I was going to be far over the mileage and requested an appointment sooner. They refused to do anything to get my car in sooner and assured me that being over the mileage would not be a problem. I dropped my car off today and they called me to let me know that because I am too far over the mileage they will not honor my contract and my service will not be complementary. They actually expect me to pay them after THEY caused the problem. I have had other issues with the Perrysburg location as well. A huge selling point for me with the car was the warranty and service contract. I am learning that neither are actually worth the paper they are printed on. I will NEVER buy another Hyundai and I will advise friends and family to stay clear of them as well.

Warranty work
My Hyundai Sonata was recently in for the engine recall and was replaced with a brand new engine. It’s been 3 months and the engine is having problems. The problem has put the car in a safety mode that won’t let it accelerate over 20 mph. The car hasn’t even reached its oil change mark set from the dealership the work was performed at. I had the car towed into the same dealership to get looked at and so far no one has put their hands on it to diagnose it. I am the one always calling for updates and was even told on 12/29/21 I was next behind one other car and then when I called back today there are three cars in front of mine! It’s been three weeks and I get that it was holidays and places are backed up but this is an issue with a job they performed and I have been without a car for my family which is the main transportation for work and taking child to appointments. Because they haven’t looked at the car they can’t get me with a loaner or rental. This has been one of the worst experiences I have had with a service center and not the most satisfying customer service. I wish they would be more understanding and have better communication.

Never can I trust a sole
I purchased my 2020 a little over two months ago traded in my 2017 Chrysler 200s and it has been a nightmare since.....Sadly to say when I got the car it was later in the night so they didn't get to clean it and it needed a new tire so was told to bring it back the next day and they will take care of it so that was cool. So I took the car back the next day and they put me in a rental cause they had to order a tire so the very next day I get a call from service asking me if I had a spare cause they couldn't find my key chain so I didn't have a spare cause they never gave me one yet so next thing you know I went in for a cleaning and it turned into me having to wait for not only the tire to be ordered but they had to order new keys for my car cause they lost my key chain with very personal meaning stuff and two other vehicle keys that are not cheap. So after about a weak I get a repo man at my house for a none payment on the Chrysler I traded in to Hyundai so I go there to Hyundai to figure out that the check they sent to the bank was missing number n other things on it so I had late fees and was embarrassed at the least. So I meet with Steve himself and that man is one caring respectful person that would do anything to make you happy and try to make things right. He had and emergency call and had to go so he wrote me two checks one for my day of worked missed cause they told me to be there and I went and my car wasn't even done and the other one was for the late fees from that whole check situation with my trade in. So I make my first car payment and insurance and my car is still in the shop untill I start going there daily to get treated and walked all over . Finally they call after a month an some days and say my cars ready i go up there get in my car and pull out not even 3mins to hearing somthing quietly so in my head im saying let's turn around and go straight back so I slow down and turn around and my tire snaps off making me hit my head come to see it and there only one bolt let on barely hanging with the whole tire vent almost under my car so I walk back to them and we and service man walk back to look at it and then they walked me back hurried and put me in a rental and put me on my way. The very next day they call me to pick up my car go back there to get my. Car and it drives even worse and they wont do anything to help I actually had an appointment for my alignment they forgot to do and got there at 8am to get a text from them say that my appointment had to be cancled due to a issue they would get back with me and still to this day I cant get no where with them let alone even get a call back. Had to take a trip all the way to Findlay Oh to the other service area. The service I received was beyond amazing before they even heard my issue they did nothing but offer there help and make sure everything was ok. Dont get me wrong everyone at that dealership aren't corrupt and trying to get over every witch way they can its sticking. I refuse to talk to Zee Aj any.more cause talking with them only made things even worse. I feel like all there doing over there is trying to keep it hush hush and keep it from Mr Taylor himself and its bullcrap. The Findlay location looked up my file to see there isn't no documents of previous work or even them having to order a new tire or even the keys they ordered nothing is on file for some reason the last thing thats documented is that the Car was traded back in cause of transmission problems so they had to replace it with a new transmission and also some type of paint job witch is crazy cause what I was told and informed of about this car was there wasn't and hasn't been no previous problems that the car was in really good condition that it never had a issue I was lied to like no other about this car and if it wasn't for me taking that trip to the other location I would of never of heard about these things.... they printed me off copies of everything so I would have them. Theres more to this story but I'm trying to keep it short as of today they have me blocked on there phone numbers and refuse to get back with me.. I HAVE ALL MY MESSAHES STARTING FROM DAY ONE WITH THEM I HAVE CONVERSATIONS TALKING ABOUT ALL THIS WITH THEM AND CAN PROVE IT. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SONTHING LIKE THIS IT TRULY HAS SCARED ME TO THE PO9NT I DONT EVER THINK I COULD GOTO ANORHER CAR LOT I FEEL LIKE MY CAR HAS LOST VALUE TO BE HONEST I DONT EVEN FEEL SAFE IN IT AND ITS RIDICULOUS AND SCANDALOUS HOW I AM BEING TREATED SO UNPROFESSIONAL SO I WISH MR TAYLOR WOULD JUST REACH BACK OUT FIANLLY OR EVEN RANDOMLY SEES THIS MESSAGE WOULD BE AWSOME BUT IN ALL REALITY IT WILL PROBLY GET DELEATED SO IT CANT BE SEEN SO IF IT DOES DISSAPPEAR I WILL HAVE ALL THIS ATLEAST SCREAN SHOTTED TO SHOW THE NEXT THANK YOU FOR THE TIME AND PATIENCE SO FAR HAVE A BLESSED DAY GODBLESS

Transferred money for a car 2 weeks ago today and still has not left the dealership!!! Talked to the sales manager and he told me straight out the best thing he could do for me was to say he was sorry!
