The CV axle in my truck decided to die on my way to Montana…
Not good. I was about 40 minutes outside of Sioux Falls when it happened. I used AAA to get a tow a
nd picked what seemed to be a very highly-rated auto repair business.
The high ratings are well-deserved. They were not only courteous, professional and knowledgeable, but when I explained that I was traveling and not local, they took my truck in immediately and started work on it. No “we’re all booked up” or “we can make an appointment for next week.” It simply unspoken that I needed to get where I was going.
As it was, they had to order a part which would not arrive until Thursday (not their fault). They gave me a nice loaner and I got a hotel room. I assumed that since the part was coming on Thursday, I’d be in the road on Friday. Not so.
The part arrived at 11:00 am on Thursday and the crew was waiting for it. I was on my way to Montana less than two hours later!
My 1st time service was a few months back was to correct an alignment issue that another auto servic
e did not correct. Prompt service, found the issue and corrected it. On 5/7/24, I took my vehicle in for a major issue, I am pleased with their customer service, call backs on the problem and pricing. It is refreshing to find an auto service that really treats customers fairly with the concerns and issues. I will be returning to Hometown Auto in Liberty, Tx.

Good service, but extra fee we were not told about.
We were not told about the "Invoice Payment Processing Fee" at any time, so we were surprized to see
it on the invoice. We are guessing it is for credit card processing, and if we were told about it, we would have paid by an alternate means and saved the $55.09.
