2016 Q3 TFSI Quattro Prestige - APR Stage 1 - Great little SUV

Bought this 2016 used in 2020 in excellent condition with 30k miles on it (as of this writing 58k miles). Live in Florida but was regularly in Princeton NJ on business so I just kept the Q3 up in NJ for 2 years. Through Rain, Sleet, Snow and hot summer the car has performed flawlessly. Gen V Haldex quattro has been fabulous for both dry road performance and VERY inclement weather (heavy snow, heavy rain etc). Now (Feb 2023) I have 59k miles and still running strong. Put and APR stage 1 upgrade at 38k miles. No problems at all. Great performance with the APR. No breakdowns. Not reliability issues. Oil changes at 7500 miles each time with Castrol Edge Euro 5W40. European cars can be quirky and unreliable on many levels. This Q3 has been a champ! With the "Prestige" trim it comes with 19" rims and big 255/40/19 tires. This makes the Q3 truly corner like a sports car and I am not exaggerating at all. Complaints (minor) - No memory seats, No remote start. Styling is nice but a little generic. PS: I gave performance a 7 here because without the APR stage 1 upgrade the car is truly under-powered at just 200hp. With the APR it bumps to around 300hp and THEN you've got a high performance SUV. Also note, I've had no longevity or engine reliability issues with the APR upgrade.

Fun little “hot hatchback” SUV

I bought my 2016 Audi Q3 Quattro used in 2018 and it had 65,000 miles when purchased. I specifically chose this model for its size and capabilities, including fun to drive and good fuel economy. I have not been disappointed from the start with this car. The only flaw I had with the vehicle is I felt it had potential for more performance. German Autohaus did a Stage I upgrade on the engine computer and the little car came alive. It is now one of the most versatile cars, with legitimate room for 4 adults and a surprisingly large cargo area, as well as fun cars I have ever driven. I have owned a few “hot hatchbacks” from the late 70’s to a few years ago, and this vehicle has that feel with a “grown up touch”. I rate it a “poor mans Porsche Macan S”.

Great car!

it's a beautiful and well designed car. I gave it only 4 stars since I am still trying to get used to it- coming from a much smaller car. :)

Her name is Pearl...

Yes, my new Audi already has a name and she's a great little car! Drives smoothly, parks easily, has great safety features and a seat that goes back far enough and high enough so I can see everything! And those side view mirror lights that indicate when someone is in your blind spot- brilliant! Had a great experience at the dealership and have been having a blast driving her ever since!
