2008 Cadillac Escalade EXT
I have owned my 2008 Escalade Ext for just under 3 years. We purchased it with 52,000 miles and now have just over 87,000. Overall it has been a very good vehicle but I have had to replace 2 of the power lock actuators which sounds like a common problem with the vehicle. Fortunately they are a fairly cheap repair. I did recently have a seal leak on the front differential which seems like a repair that should not have happened. The engine has some piston slap prior to the engine warming up which I was told is normal for this engine model. That is the bad! Now on to the good. The vehicle is awesome! It has lots of power and is a great vehicle to own. It has all the class of a Cadillac and yet is very functional and good looking to boot. I would not hesitate to buy another Escalade of any flavor. They are expensive to buy new but a very good value as a used vehicle. No buyers remorse with this vehicle. I would recommend the Escalade EXT to anyone who needs an occasional pickup style vehicle to haul some stuff. Brad
