2008 ford edge

I bought this vehicle used and other than normal maintenance the only other work needed was two fuel injectors. I gave this vehicle to my son after his vw blew the engine. I liked the edge so much that i bought a newer edge sport that is fully loaded. I was disappointed when I heard ford was going to discontinue model.

Love this car!

This car suits my needs to a"T"! My Edge has over 220000 miles and is still going stronge! I feel very safe driving it due to the AWD and it is super comfortable on long road trips! Also with gas prices today it is competitive for a vehicle it's size!

Lemon

I have two Fords and one Lexus. The Lexus has more miles than the two Fords combined. The Lexus just keeps purring. The Fords leave me stranded. No more Fords. They’re just undependable, even when close to new.

Overall Satisfaction

I love my 2008 Ford Edge. It has 190,000 miles and still running strong. I get all routine/manufacturers recommended maintenance. Great horse power, nice body style in and out. The V6 is a strong running motor. The body style is still stylish even after 13 years.

I love this vehicle!

The best way to describe this vehicle is,” Sexy in the city, Macho in the mountains” Such a great multipurpose vehicle. Comfy and roomy for 5 persons, beefy enough to pull a trailer and even sleep two if needed. If I had to replace it, I would replace it with the same model, only newer with the EcoBoost. I hope they manufacture a Hybrid soon??

2008 Ford Edge

We bought this car new and now have 160,000 miles on it. Other than routine maintenance the only repairs have been new ball joints. Extremely reliable and will drive it until it dies, hopefully in another 160,000 miles. The service manager at my Ford dealer always tries to buy it as he says that this is the most reliable model and Year Ford has produced.

Very reliable and safe vehicle

We purchased this vehicle new in 2008 , which turned out to be safe during a front end collision and the repair history has been minimal. The vehicle currently has 166k and just required a major repair (timing chain and gear )

Love my Ford Edge. Rides nice. Love the color. Heated seats. Bluetooth. Like the rims. Like how the trunk opens. They did a good job working on my car. It’s been a great car for me. Would buy another one.

Reliable care

I have had My Edge for about 7 years now and LOVE IT!! It has a little over 173,000 miles and runs great. We just had our first major repair and that was the AC. I drive 50/50 between highway and city and the care has good acceleration, great turning, smooth quiet ride, roomie, and very comfortable. We definitely love our Edge and couldn't be happier with it!

Of all the vehicles I’ve had, this one tops them all. Great running car and design for the year model 2008! Great for long rides. Plenty of room and comfortable. A lot of unexpected features and runs great!

Love it

I have only had my edge for a year, but I love it, its my first suv, and i am not dissapointed. Very spacious, leather heated seats and a front and back sunroof. My only real issue is the bass portion of the stereo cuts out at random, and back on if you turn the stereo off and back on. And I have talked to other ford owners who have similar issues....come on FORD make it a recall!!

I love my Ford edge. It is my first SUV and I could not be happier. Its the perfect size for me. It rides well and handles great. Its good on gas too. My friends and I have many day trips planned this summer and I'm so excited.
