Built Ford Crap
After about three months after purchase the vehicle developed an interior rattle Ford said they could never find; said they “couldn’t duplicate”.
It had a slow tire leak from the start. Refused to replace.
The navigation system sucks, it never seems to understand voice commands, and Ford doesn’t auto update; it requires the purchase of new $100+ software. There was a recall on the Navigation system I had done, and when it was returned, I had no navigation. It took Ford three additional days to fix and didn’t offer a loaner. I was stuck at home for the duration.
I have a door-ajar sensor issue, where all interior and exterior lights stay on for 15-30 minutes after the car is turned off. This goes on for 3-14 days till the system resets. All this because the wrong door is opened. This is a known issue to Ford, and they even sent out a repair order (Not a recall) for it but being the repair order is only valid on the driver's door; not the door I have an issue with, they won’t touch it, unless I pay for it; pay for a known issue. That single $50 replacement part alone cost them not only a repeat customer, but I no longer have Ford service my Edge.
