Perfect Vehicle for its purpose

Owned for 100k / 12 years. Less than $6,000 in repairs (not counting oil changes and filters.). Brakes, ball joints, steering linkage, tires, u-joints and entire brake lines. Extremely Reliable and excellent snow vehicle. 7 person and luggage all fit inside with plenty of room.

Best super Truck.

10 Cylinder workhorse. Never any problem with Engine or tranny. All brake lines, Calipers, Ball joints, Hitch receiver needed replacement due to Long Islands salty air and roads during winter. Not unexpected. Repairs better than spending on a new vehicle! This is the biggest SUV on the road and does the job.

2003 Ford Excursion

We love this vehicle. It is the only one that fits our family and pulls our camping trailer. Just wish Ford still made them so we could trade up to a newer model.

Great vehicle

My 2003 Ford Excursion has been one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. With almost 140,000 miles, it still looks like new and runs like new. If Ford ever decides to build them again, I sure would be ready.

Best Utility Vehicle on the road.

For a one ton frame it has the largest cargo capacity of any utility vehicle. Ours is a 4X4. We have the old faithful 7.3 L turbo diesel giving us up to 18-20 mpg on long drives. Ford made a BIG mistake when they discontinued this model and the 7.3 L turbo diesel. We have the Eddie Bauer package which makes it a joy to drive and be in on long drives.
