Second Genesis and even happier than the first. Great features. Good performance. Good looks. Better value than other luxury SUVs. Have traveled cross country and very comfortable both in and out of town. Family as well as friends and other passengers impressed.

The Genesis GV80 is an excellent vehicle with multiple features that contribute to an exceptional and safe driving experience. My wife test drove the car at the Kearny Mesa Genesis dealership and was very impressed with the handling of the vehicle. She compared it to the BMW X5 and Range Rover and decided that Genesis had a superior offering.

Great looking car. Horrible durability

Had the car for one year. Roof leaks need new tires the low engine oil light came on twice prior to oil changes. There is a ton of road noise with the sunroof at high speeds. The sensors go crazy when you pull up to a vehicle at a stop sign or stop light.

Totally Satisfied with my Genesis. The ride quality and comfort are great. I like the matt finish color and the styling of the vehicle in general. Technicians might need additional training to get the job done right the first time. The technician did not put in enough oil for a 3.5 liter engine.

Classic Styling

Beautiful car with outstanding styling throughout. The blending of features is superior and is an eye catcher wherever I drive. The GV80 is a smooth and comfortable ride. The environmental (AC/heater) system keeps everyone happy. The safety features are state of the art and truly adds to my situation awareness while navigating traffic. Apple play connects without hassle and features such as Music, podcast and navigation to include Google maps are seamless. Fuel mileage is less than desirable but average for a car of this size. I enjoy driving this car!

Beautiful Premium Vehicle

The GV80 is a beautiful premium SUV. The fit and finish of the car is as good if not better than other premium vehicles we have owned. I am hoping that this very important attention to design and build quality translates to a great longer term ownership experience.

There is no more to say able the vehicle, Over all it is a well designed vehicle , which my wife and I love to drive. Our family and friend just can't say enough about the way it ride, looks and handles. We can't wait to take it on our future road trips across the county.

Great ride but my GV80 has a few glitches

The ride is very responsive. With the larger engine the sport drive mode has decent acceleration. There is an issue with the navigation system and it is NOT working, this wouldn't be a problem is it had wireless Apple carplay and if the carplay showed up on the heads up display. I love the heads up display and when the nav is working having it on the windshield is so much safer than on the screen. I have had an oil pressure false warning and a few low tire warnings but all have been in error. Overall I enjoy driving my vehicle but I have had too many problems for my first year of ownership for me to be as happy as when I drove off the lot. I was told that this navigation problem doesn't have a repair.

There is a reason Car and Driver gave it 10 out of 10

Absolute beautiful balance of performance, styling, comfort and convenience in an affordable vehicle. My first non-German vehicle purchase in many years and I am very pleased with the decision to go with the GV80. The matte green finish is beautiful and selecting different driving modes changes the character in a great way. Has to be one if not the most balanced vehicles I've ever driven.

Top of the line, Great Value

Many, many bells and whistles for the price. LOVE the Automatic Cruise Control. I take many road trips. For the size of the vehicle, mileage on the expressway is exceptional. Local mileage is what I expected. Love all the compliments I get about the vehicle's looks.

Luxury and class

With just about every vehicle I see on the road today being a SUV they all looked very nice. However, this one caught my wife’s and my attention. We followed it to get the name. Purchased one about a week later. As beautiful the car’s appearance is, the interior & features had it all for us. The amount of features is incredible. It is going to take us a long while to learn every capability. One minor nice thing for us is we only by AWD. This comes standard now.

GV80 = Super Vehicle

Genesis has done a beautiful job with the styling and quality of their vehicles. It would be wonderful if Genesis had their own dealerships that offer complimentary vehicle washes like a MBZ, Lexus, and BMW dealers do. If you're going to run with the "big boys" you have to step it up Genesis!!

Excellent Decision

I am so happy with my decision to go with the GV80. We seriously looked at comparable vehicles made by Mercedes and BMW and evaluated 20 others through the various ratings groups. The Genesis came out on top and especially so once you factor in the value for the money.

Not worth the money

A lot of tech features are poorly implemented which prevents this from being a true luxury player. The massage is weak, the premium speakers are OK, the cameras don't work as advertised, the smart parking assist rarely works, the driving assists barely actually assist and need a lot of human input. I would not recommend this car.
