Hyndai Equus among the elite class!

The Equus has it all, sleek, classy body, minimal cabin noise, great room front and back, not too good on gas! The new Genesis should offer a signature edition like the Equus, along with better rims.

You have a fine machine. My biggest problem wilt this auto is Road Sound. It should have had less road noise to be heard inside the car. Overall it is a fine automobile; a pleasure to drive . Thank you for asking. Walter J Knapp

GREAT CAR FOR THE MONEY!

I BOUGHT THE EQUUS 5 YEARS AGO. GREAT CAR, COMFORTABLE. NO ISSUES AS FAR AS PERFORMANCE OR QUALITY. I HAVE DRIVEN MERCEDES S, BMW, AUDI. THIS IS A GREAT CAR TO BUY SINCE IT IS PRICED 30% LOWER THAN THOSE MORE EXPENSIVE EQUIVALENT EUROPEAN, JAPNESE BRANDS. WE ARE RETIRED PHYSICIANS AND INTENT TO KEEP THE CAR. EQUUS IS NO LONGER PRODUCE AND SUCCEEDED BY EQUIVALENT GREAT CAR GENESIS WHICH IS MORE NIMBLE.

Love the car, except for the electronics.

I like almost everything about the car except the sound system and nav system. It's amazing that a car of this level of luxury will not stream bluetooth music from my iPhone. I have rented many inexpensive cars here and abroad, and all had music streaming. Even less expensive Hyundais can stream music. I will not consider another (now-) Genesis until they have Apple CarPlay. Likewise the nav system is completely un-intuitive. Hyundai should license Garmin technology, which is very easy to use. On the other hand, the big V8 is an amazing engine!

Love the car, but dealer does not deliver a loaner as promised

Absolutely love the car, both styling and performance. Service has been great, but he dealer fails to insure a loaner as promised. Many times the manager fails to return my calls. Therefore, I just make other arrangements. Only other issue I have is that it seems that resale value is not up to par with the other cars it competes with, BMW and Mercedes. When the time comes for replacement, I will have to see if I get another one. If comfort, style, and reliability were a factor I would, but if the resale value is so poor, I am better off with an alternate vehicle

Great car

Great car with a lot of amenities. Plenty of power. Smooth transmission. Love the exterior. Many compliments even though it is sux years old. A little shaky in the steering and control knob has a little temper. Overall a great ride with plenty of functionality and fun to drive

Just a great car at a very fair price. Outstanding warranty and a great value. Will buy another in the future... The new model G-90 looks great, will test drive in the near future to see what new features have developed since I bought mine new in 2013

Bang for buck and then some.

Other from the slightly louder outside noise in the cabin this car met or exceeds any car I have owned. After five years of satisfaction driving the car I still get compliments on the look of my car and questions about what car is it followed by compliments on the look and class the car gives. Never have I had this from any of the other luxury cars I have ever driven let alone five years later. I’m impressed!

Affordable Luxury.

By far, the Equus is the best car I've ever owned. It is comfortable and dependable. I drive roughly 50K miles a year and couldn't ask for more than this car offers. Many people ask me what kind of car it is because of the unique symbol on the hood and trunk. I am proud to say it is a Genesis upgrade made by Hyundai. Absolutely adore this car.

Equus value

The Hyundai Equus is the best automobile for the money on the road. For me it has been an outstanding value. The ride, performance and electronics is very comparable to a Mercedes S500. I owned a Mercedes before the Equus.

Just Bought a One Owner 2013 Equus Sig with 63K miles and my wife loves the car to boot

What a bargain I feel like I got. Ran a 150 point inspection check list at a dealer and he said buy it. Bought the car for under 20K (Pre Owned with NO WARRANTY.) This is the smoothest ride I've found. Great performance and beauty. All the bells and whistles.. Buy one used for cash. You will really think you are smart.

2013 equus signature

I love my equus overall size, weight, color, comfort, immenties, etc. with a few caveats like 2 different wheel sizes, alarm horn cheap sound like an elantra not good, it's seemingly losing the smooth ride it had at time of purchase, too small glove box

I love my car. I was in love with Honda but my car is # 1. Hyundai has really done step up there game. I would never thought about buying a Hyundai but when I saw my car the equus l was like wow. Wouldn't trade it for nothing. Thanks Hyundai

Very good.

While i like very much my Equus and the lack of maintenance problems aside from flat tire issues, still not convinced that Hyundai should have consolidated the Equus brand into the Genesis platform along with a G80. I owned a Genesis, and while it was a great car, it was not an Equus. When the Equus was introduced, it stood apart from the other Hyundai products including the Genesis. So, to purchase a G90 (EQUUS?), what am I getting for the added cost? More gizmos? Same wheelbase/ platform, etc. This where I have a problem with a G90. Not convinced it is worth the cost differential over a G80. Hyundai made a huge mistake consolidating platforms to achieve cost savings at the expense of a stand-alone brand.

This is a beautiful car, I was surprised when I found out that it was made by Hyundai. The ride very comfortable I can compare this vehicle to any Mercedes, Lexus and others out there on the market. This is the 7th car that I have owned in my lifetime and maybe my last.

Quality, Aesthetics and comfort.

I absolutely love My EQUUS. While I am in the market for a new car, the EQUUS will remain in my possession. That automobile would of been a top seller had Hyundai got their act together.The features as well as the ride far exceeds that of any automobile I've owned. That includes a top-of-the line Volvo's.

NICE VEHICLE

THE CAR HAVE NOT GIVEN ME ANY MAJOR PROBLEMS YET. KNOCK ON WOOD. BUT I DONT LIKE THE DASH BOARD HAD TO REPLACE IT AT NAPLETONS AND ITS BUBBLING UP ALREADY. THE PASSENGER SIDE SEAT RATTLES A LOT. AND THE FRONT BUMPERS IS PEALING LIKE CRAZY WITH BROWN SPOT SO THE PAINTINT OF THE BUMPER NEEDS TO BE BETTER. NOW I HAVE TO GET IT PAINTED.
