Genesis Coupe 2.0T Premium

This is a overlooked auto of supreme handling, performance, & beautiful fit & finish. 5-7000 dollars cheaper than any pony car similarly equipt... Once you drive one you're hooked on it. This is not your grandma's ride. This is a sure-footed performance vehicle that will thrill you if you have the skill base to handle a true sports car that cradles you with comfort in a super cabin design.

Poor interior trim

Service was excellent. I was greeted immediately upon arrival. My 2014 Hyundai Genesis Coupe hesitated to start which was the reason for visiting your dealership. I was informed that I needed a new battery which was covered 100% by the warranty. I don't think I was in the dealership an hour before my car was serviced, washed, vacuumed and returned to me. The service at Lakeland Hyundai was far superior to the service at Ganley Hyundai in Ohio where I originally purchased the vehicle from.

Interior materials are low quality.

Firstly I'll say that I I purchased my 2014 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T because it was different than the other vehicles in its class. Plenty of power and great styling. However I am disappointed in the quality of the interior materials. The imitation aluminum coating on the steering wheel and shift lever is peeling after a year of use. Also the passenger seat is showing wear already. I also have paint peeling on the front of the car that a dealership states isn't covered by warranty. In addition I'm disappointed that Hyundai has decided to discontinue the Genesis which has led me to seek a replacement vehicle.

Genesis coupe R-spec 2.0t (man. Transmission)

Loved the car overall. Had a couple of things I would have liked to have changed. 1) hp around 300 2) too much body roll when traveling at 55 mph or higher. 3) manual transmission on the 2014 kinda stuttered when driving hard and shifting. I did not have this problem in my 2013 base model.

A gear-head's review of a 2014 Genesis 2.0T (R-spec -- built to Racing Specifications)

I have motor oil in my veins, I admit it. I especially love those great, most-fun-for-the-money cars. That's why I'm often in new car dealerships ... looking. And when I find one that's exciting to drive, I buy it. That's why I have the Genesis coupe. It has been an amazing car, a "pocket rocket" actually. A car intentionally built by the factory to race and yet still be an everyday "driver." Every time I get the new car fever (which is fairly often), I recall the 2 or 3 fresh complements I receive — in between each of my "new fever" episodes — and then wonder why I would ever want to sell it. (It's hard to give up a car that builds one's ego.) Besides, as far as I know, there's nothing out there that's more exciting to drive, or better built, or with a nicer, upscale interior, for anywhere near the same price range or bang for the bucks.

Great Car

Comfortable and really screams when you want to paddle shift to keep in the power band. One of the best performance cars I've owned. 2.0 turbo is a great engine and i get 30 mpg cruising the interstate.

Best value in a sports coupe

I bought the 2014 Genesis Coupe as my wife's fair weather vehicle and replacement for her 2008 Saturn Sky. The Genesis Coupe has a great deal of pep (Same 6 cylinder engine found in the Genesis Sedan), great handling and braking and a fairly comfortable ride for a sports coupe. Much softer ride than the Saturn Sky, Ford Mustang or Mitsubishi Eclipse. It should keep her happy for a couple years!
