2014 Genesis Almost the Perfect Car.

I had always admired the Genesis from when it was first introduced and hoped one day to be able to purchase one. I specifically selected the 2014 model, as I prefer the original body style, and this was the last year for this model. I love the way it looks and the way it performs, and my wife and I feel safe driving this car in Houston traffic.

Genesis rspec

Love my car! Handles well. Has lots of power. Backup camera could be better. It’s hard to see at the angle it’s at. I bought it new and love it. Have never found one I like better. Nothing else has the power.

The Best

I purposely bought this generation Genesis because I believed the exterior was unique and beautiful. This is the best overall vehicle I have owned. So far, it has been extreme reliable and reasonable to maintain. The ride, quality, and performance has remained exceptional. My Genesis is as much fun to drive as it as the day I bought it.

Love my genesis rspec

Love the drive and power of my car. It handles the road well and is very comfortable and quiet. I wish there were more amenities in mine. It’s a 2014 and does not have car play. Also can’t figure out how to load music in the jukebox.

Genesis 2014 Sedan

The best car I've owned. Runs great and constantly get great comments about the car. I love cruising in this car. Comfortable, plenty of HP, and just a relaxing car to drive. I wanted one for a while and asked John Lyons from Coastal Hyundai to keep an eye on one for me and he found the perfect car. Thank You!

2014 Genesis sedan

My 2014 Genesis sedan has been reliable and comfortable transportation. I average 21 miles per gallon in city driving and 30 miles per gallon highway. I have not had any major breakdowns , however the battery failed June 10, 2019 when I arrived at the post office. I called the two truck company to haul my Genesis to the dealer ship. However the Tow Truck driver jumped started the battery so I could drive it to the Hyundai New Port Richey dealership on US 19 that replaced the battery in about 1\2 hour . Paid the bill and back on the road on the way home.

2014 Genesis

We really like this car and look forward to our next Genesis. We have taken two trips one from mid west to LA. and one from Pa. to Wyo. and back to the mid west. I drove one stretch of 18 hours and was not a tired as when I drove my Buick 14 hours. It has a great ride.

2014 R-Spec

The vehicle performs great except for the clear coat is peeling on the front bumper with a little over 56k miles on it. The paint on the rest of the vehicle is great and there is no problem with the clear coat on the rear bumper.. The vehicle is not 5 years old yet need some answers on this problem.

Hyundai Genesis 2014

Bottom line, I chose the Hyundai Genesis (new 2014) after much research, because of the value for the buck. I enjoy the interior & trunk dimensions immensely. The car hugs the road so great that road trips are never tiring, plus the gas mileage is a real bonus. I love my Genesis!

When, I first drove this car, I fell in love with it and knew this was the one I had to buy. It is quite, drives and rides very smoothly, plus very good on gas. I love this car, which I have owned for 5 years. It is smooth and comfortable to ride, great interior and trunk space. It ranks highly in Consumer reports for its class and was excellent value. It ranked #1 in 2017 and #2 in 2018, way to go.

World's Best Car

This is the best car in the world for the money. I don't understand why anyone buys any other car. But, the break is too close to the accelerator and it is too easy to depress both at once. I'm an experienced driver and I've never done that with any other car and I've done it several times with the Genesis. This is a serious safety issue that needs to be addressed. That's why I gave it a 5 for interior design. Still the best car being made in the world though!

Smooth and Fast

I personally dont buy new cars any more I see a car I want wait 2 or 3 year and buy it .I also buy my cars for the body style that i like .now this GENESIS is off the charts i had. 500 Mercedes it was to expensive for the maintenance. This car run fast on regular gas and a regular oil change is all it need.After 5 years I'm just replacing my Michelin with new. Michelin it ride so good and can handle curve like a sports car and this the 3.8 but feel like a 5.0....This is a high In car but a lot less then others

Absolutely love this car. It is the most comfortable with a great ride. Even gets 33 mpg on the highway, much better than expected. Great large trunk. Back seat is very large with lots of leg space.

Hyundai Genesis

I was thinking of buying another used vehicle soon, i was thinking of maybe a c class mercedes or another cadillac cts. but when gave some careful thought to everything i thought about how much the maintenace would be on these cars. i had the opportunity a year ago to drive the genesis for about three weeks and my wife and i kinda fell in love with it, so when the opportunity presented itself we embraced the chance and here we are driving the genesis and we love it. the style and the way it rides and handle you don't know whether you are driving a cadillac or a benz. But the way i see it, you are driving and riding in as much luxury as those cars without the high cost. So thank God for the Genesis and volume Hyundai.

Love it, but ...

Good car. Being retired, I don't drive much, but when I do, I am impressed by its ease of handling and ample power. I don't have the top of the line technology features, but I love what I have, especially the rear view camera. At my age, I can't do without it. My one major disappointment is that, for my 2014 model, the passenger seat lacks up-and-down control. (How could you do that to me Hyundai!!!???). Otherwise, I am very happy with its quality and performance.

Great Automobile

I have admired this car since it was first introduced around 2008. At the time I was driving a Hyundai Azera. I purchased the 2014 model in 2017, when it came off a lease at the Hyundai dealer. It was fully loaded and had been driven very little. It has a very powerful V6 with rear drive, and gets great gas mileage. I enjoy driving it every day, and is great on the highway. On a recent trip out of town, my Genesis got 31 miles per gallon.

Genesis R Spec

We loved the car till we took it to Gerald Hyundai/Genesis for service work. Now every time we get in the car we are sick with all the damaged that the dealer and their staff did. They did more damage to the vehicle then what we took it to them for for warranty work.

My 2014 Genesis

I love my Genesis up until now, it is starting to have a few issues around 40,000 miles. I am expecting them to get the issues resolved soon, nothing major so far. If not resolve I will be looking for something new.

Too much hassle

The car is fun to drive and it's comfortable and quiet. I liked it when I bought it and I wish I could still say the same thing. I have had two radio's replaced, the back up camera went out and now the driver's seat stopped working. May seem like little things, but the car only has 18,000+/- miles on it and it's getting old when I have to keep taking it in to get things fixed that always seem to require a part that has to be ordered and I don't have my car for a week at a time. The dealership is good about getting you back to work or finding a car for you to drive but it's still a huge inconvenience each time.
