Genesis

We bought the 2016 Genesis from Garden Grove Hyundai on December 28 with about 3500 miles. It is a great car; the ride is very comfortable, and quiet. We were disappointed that the car wouldn't start on two occasions, but the Lithia Hyundai in Fresno found that the battery was bad so replaced it and the car is back on the road again. The Garden. Grove Hyundai dealership apparently gave us the wrong key for our car, as discovered by the service manager at Lithia Hyundai in Fresno. If we can get the Garden Grove Hyundai to get us the right key for our car, the problem will be resolved.

Quick Review of One Problem

I have one very frustrating issue. When using Sirius (or radio), I change stations using the toggle on the left of the steering wheel. When I’m in any mode EXCEPT Radio, I toggle DOWN to go UP the list of presets. But when I’m in Radio mode, I have to toggle UP to go DOWN the radio list. This seems like a colossal oversight, and it’s very annoying.

2016 Hyundai Genesis 3.8

This car has an irritating whining sound while decelerating (see my comments in the CONS section.) However, It is a comfortable and fun to drive vehicle, holds the road nicely with well placed controls. Hyundai needs to address this whining noise problem in order to maintain a high customer satisfaction rating.

So much better than my 2012 Genesis

Great car , I have driven it 9000 miles and not one problem. I love the looks and comfort of this car. It get 31 mpg on the highway at 70 plus mph.

Awesome Hyundai Genesis Sedan 3.8

This is for a 2016 Genesis Sedan 3.8. What a great car!!! Everything fits perfectly. The engine is very responsive. Interior is super quiet. Handling and styling are great! I get around 28 mpg on the highway and 25 combined. Could not ask for more in a vehicle.

Best vehicle I have ever had

I switched from a BMW, which I never thought would happen. This car has more options than BMW for less than half the cost. The ride is amazing, and service is excellent.

Genesis Controls

Some of the controls, specifically the heated seat controls should be placed where you don't have to take your eyes off the road. Perhaps somewhere on the dash would be better.

Love it!

I think the now G80 is a fantastic vehicle. Love the ride, shape, interiors etc. I would like to see the software updated with less glitches. Every time I turn on the car it tells me I have updated my contacts even if I haven't. One other thing is once you turned off the car and you turn it back on it goes to whatever is the default . I would.like to see the capability to have text messages read with the internal system. If it had a bit more pick up great but I truly love it!
