Safety Features

See responses in survey. As stated in survey you need to compare the safety features of a Volvo compared to your car. Certain features like a rear wiper and garage opener should be standard. This would certainly make a hug difference when I select my next car.

Great experience overall. Nothing yet that would make me add a n egayive review.

I like the comfort and convenience features. Fast charging is amazingly effective so I don't have to worry about getting my L2 charger at home for 2 years. Range is sufficient so I can stay in the 20 to 80% charge for a full week of my commute.

This vehicle is such a wonderful experience to drive. It's quiet, it's smooth and cornering is very precise, Styling in and out really set this vehicle apart from the competition. There are too many features to even begin to talk about!

Really like my new Ioniq 5 for so many reasons, but it's not perfect

Purchased an Ioniq 5 about three months ago. So far it's been great, better than expected BUT there are some minor things I don't like if we are being honest. The glue that holds some of the seat backing is failing, the velcro is coming loose. Charging is a challenge, even though Hyundai gives me free charging, the Electrify America experience is hit and miss. Other than that? Great car, very good value.

Large car in small package

The car has exceeded my expectations in every way. It drives great and the interior room is cavernous. I'm really happy I purchased this car. Also, as an EV, it's great that I can charge it up at home nightly and I get about 230 miles in highway driving. That's more than enough for me.

Love the styling. Great car overall

Looks great. Like the styling and ride. Infotainment could be better but overall a great car so far. Interior is very comfortable and laid out nicely. The range has been pretty good. Satisfied with the quality so far.

Love this car!

This is the nicest car I have ever driven and owned. It feels like what a magic carpet ride would feel like if such a thing actually existed. And the fact that it doesn’t pollute the environment is an incredible bonus. Goodbye gas stations, goodbye oil changes.

Maybe wait another year…

We love the car but didn’t realize it had no rear wiper. Maybe wait until next year when they include that feature. It’s not a deal breaker, but it does reduce visibility when it rains. Other than that, it’s a great small suv.

Loving my first EV

This my first EV, I was concerned about range, charging rate, etc...but these have not been issues with my Ioniq 5. The car looks great, rides great and is solid as a rock. I've been very happy with my purchase and will likely never go back to a gas-powered vehicle.

Impressive and innovating Car

The Ioniq 5 was a car that I always dreamed of, but never expected to get ever since the concept came out for it a few years ago. There were a lot of options on the market to get an EV but found out this was the best choice out of styling and convience. The car has more tech than most cars at its price point. The interior lighting at night makes it stunning and stand out of its class. The dash and infotainment screen is very well made. All the sites that review and rave this care are 100% correct.

Awesome vehicle

I love my ioniq 5 it's fun to drive and i get between 250 and 300 miles on a single charge. I love the way it looks old school but futuristic, high quality build one of the best cars that I have owned.

enjoy driving this car. had a great experience with Young Hyundai of Ogdan Utah. The salesman there was a delight to work with, his name is Channin Ford. He was very professional and never pushy. >Well built, stylish and good leg space. >Comfortable drive with relatively lesser road noise compared to competitor cars. >Ease of use and powerful bluelink with MyHyundai app. >In city Miles Range matches what is marketed, on free ways with higher speeds, falls short by almost 50 miles. >On my model A/C keeps making repeating loud beep with no root cause, and this is annoying. >Lacks features like auto wind shield wipers, trunk opening with leg gestures, which are present in my 2018 Honda CRV touring. >Cargo space is smaller compared to ID4.

Great performance - wonderful balance between screen display options and physical buttons or knobs - driver visibility excellent - cruise control and following distance easy to implement - power seat for driver easy to control - best feature is i-pedal regenerative braking.

Todays Hot Hatch

I am a VW guy and this Ionic reminds me of the early Rabbit and Golfs from the 80's and 90's. Hyundai has really hit the nail on the head with this one. For me from a styling and performance standpoint in the all electric market there was only one choice.

Excellent vehicle - very happy with it.

We were looking for either a hybrid or an electric car since it was time to trade our old vehicle in. We currently have a Toyota RAV4 hybrid and wanted to continue the trend. I had read about the Ioniq 5 but didn’t give it much thought and originally went to the dealer to look at a Kona. We saw the 5 sitting there and decided to try it. It was love at first drive. The acceleration is unbelievable (though it’s something I’ll rarely use) and the ride is incredibly smooth. Even my wife (that cares nothing about a car as long as it gets her from point A to point B) loves it - and that’s truly high praise from her.
