Excellent car.

We are enjoying our 2017 Ioniq hybrid. The mileage is great and a joy to drive. So Farr we have had no warranty claims. I highly recommend the Ioniq Blue Line to anyone who wants to purchase a new or preowned Ioniq.

MPG is amazing

I drive a lot! So MPG was super important to me when buying. I read an article about the mog on the Ioniq and decided to go for it. Comparing to a Prius and Volt it gets better MPG and is less expensive.

Great car

This car is fun to drive, economical, comfortable and nice looking. It has plenty of go power and a good steering response. My particular car has a couple 'quirks or may be problems' that haven't been resolved it.

Average car. not fantastic. Poor dealer knowledge of model. Tires filled with nitrogen from factory, dealers I visited did not have nitrogen.

To begin with, I don't understand the difference between Vehicle Review Title and Vehicle Review Summary, There were several review questions that couldn't be answered properly, because of wording or options.

Passes gas stations as fast as it passes Prius’s

It’s been an incredible vehicle I put on 27,000 miles in my first year just because I like to drive it so much and it gets 56 miles a gallon for me. No problems no glitches nothing but carefree effortless driving I haven’t even had the chance to check and see what the warranty covers yet because nothing is broken, oh well

Love hate relationship so far

Love the car, hate the recalls. I have a 2017 Ionic and recall number 2 is due to launch June 15th 2018. Most concerning however is how my car died at Newark Airport due to a failed Power relay assembly. The car just stopped. I was in a lane of traffic at a busy airport on a holiday. Had to get it towed to a dealership because !HEV came on and owner manual said it needed to go to a dealership. I was left stranded and had to call an UBER to get home. On a good note, Hyundai Corporate was very good to me. I still love the car and hope this will be the last of the issues.

Love This Car

I owned two Toyota Prius (for over 12 years) prior to purchasing my Hybrid Ioniq. In my opinion, the Ioniq is a superior car and costs less. Gets better mileage, has a smoother/comfortable ride, and the interior is much more spacious. My car is

How Ioniq

Very good value for the money . Gas mileage exceeds expectations. Why do you keep making me write more just to fill up a box? Fewer comments the better I always say. However you folks would like me to just drone on and on!

Excellent value for money spent

This car delivers on its promises, is fun to drive - especially when you can whiz by gas stations at such an alarming rate - and is cheap to buy and operate. For what you spend, you get a lot of car with Hyundai service behind it, which is quite different than other manufacturers service operations that I have experienced. Just wrapping up year 1 of a 3 year lease and intend to buy it if it holds up in terms of value and operating costs.

Love my Ioniq!

I have never been happier with a car. The safety lighted alerts on the side mirrors along with the sound alerts when signaling makes me feel so much more confident driving especially at night. The car drives so smoothly, the seats are very comfortable, and there is plenty of leg room. New passengers always voice how comfortable the car and ride is. And what is not to love about the miles per gallon. It feels good both on my wallet and my conscience in regards to the environment. I have also been happy with the acceleration when merging into traffic.

Hybrid MPG Disappointment

I purchased the Hyundai Ioniq because of the rated MPG of 55/54. It looks better than a toyota prius by a long shot, with about the same MPG. However, 3 weeks after purchase, the traction control motor goes out and it's at the dealership for 30 days while they wait on the part to come in. After that, MPG has been horrible, the traction control motor got replaced AGAIN, and Hyundai won't help with the issue. Hyundai said the MPG could be about 34% less than what is rated based on conditions. Meaning the 55 MPG rating is okay if it's only get 36 MPG.

Ioniq 2017

While no car is perfect I would have to say this car is close. While I do not get the gas millage listed on the factory sticker I am getting in the low 50. The car does have some of the new features out there but not all. The car is not a sports car but does have good pickup to get you around other cars and where you need to go. The price is fair to what you are getting overall and I do believe you would be satisfied. Please sit in the car seat and test it for comfort, mine seems to below the current standard for this type/class of car.

Love my Ioniq

I am enjoying my 2017 Ioniq, the gas mileage has been in the mid 50's mpg, I appreciate less trips to the gas pump and great fuel economy. Driving has been enjoyable, the car feels comfortable and looks sporty. Hyundai has great warranties. I like the eco fabric in the interior, no toxic new car smell. Love the warnings for the blind spot lane changing and back up/reverse screen viewer. Hatchback with fold down rear seats is great for extra carrying capacity.

Unexpected surprise!!

The unexpected surprise is that I purchased the Ioniq. I went to a car show looking for station wagon knowing there are not to many on the floor. As I entered the show, I saw 'this' shape. The rear roof line coming down to the back seemed interesting. I approached the car and lifted the hatch. I noted that if I lowered the seats in the rear and the right passenger seat, I'd have an acceptable amount of space to carry 'long' items such a lumber. (I would prefer a roof rack on this car.) I discussed the car with a Hyundai agent never expecting I'd purchase a Hyundai. One feature I never expected was that it was a Hybrid. Several weeks later, when I was on vacation, I was able to drive the Ioniq at a dealer. I was astonished at how well the Hybrid performed. I had never driven a Hybrid and noted that the car drove very well. I also noted the miles per gallon as I drove the car around the area. After several miles I returned it to the dealer. When I was home I went to a dealer that my 'in-laws' had used to purchase the car. I talked to a salesman about the vehicle and I made a purchase. My unexpected surprise is, I never expected that I'd ever purchase a Hybrid let alone a Hyundai. I just went over 7,500 miles and it is a pleasure to drive. I drive locally and I take long day trips as well. (200 - 300 miles a day) My miles per gallon indicates, on average, over 62 MPG. Actually indicated is within 4 MPG both over and under. One 5 day trip approx. 2,000 miles gave us 60,5 MPG indicated and within 4 MPG actual. When I went for my service I arrived at the dealer with the indicator showing 70.7 MPG. The trip indicator was at 180 miles on that tank of gas. (All numbers can be found in my log.)

Very satisfied with car trim, power, and gas mileage. Recommend cup holders installed in front of vents to keep water chilled in warm weather. Would also suggest rear camera access during driving and left mirror camera.
