Love my Kona

It's just the right size, easy to drive and park. It has so many safely features and android auto it's like I have navigation but didn't have to pay the extra to get it. I do with my in town mileage was a little better, but on the highway is's great!

Poorly made but fun to drive

I have owned my Hyundai Kona Ulitmate 1.6 T for just under 18 months and only have 17, 500 miles on this vehicle. I have already been in a rental car due to engine issues twice, a rear bumber replacement and issues with the navigation system not working which they can't seem to replicate. The seams between the leather and fabric are already beginning to show tearing and I only weigh 125 pounds and am the only driver of this vehicle. There is a strange bubble that appeared on the dashboard and I have been waiting almost 3 months for the replacement because they are on backorder nationally. The leather seats are poorly made with buckling in some areas. There is a strange rattle and the navigation system doesn't properly link the supported app Android Auto and also overheats my phone when driving for long periods. The navigation system will just stop using Android Auto suddenly while your driving and getting directions so suddenly you're lost and have to try to get your phone to link up to the system again or use voice activation to get directions through their system which always take you through weird side streets to get you where you want to go. If you're using their system for directions, you have to use bluetooth with your phone which would be fine if the sound quality didn't change once you did. It is fun to drive but I don't think that outweighs all the issues with this vehicle. I am losing faith in the Hyundai Brand.

It just felt right

I was all set out to buy the Subaru Crosstrek or to stay in the Honda family. I tried the crosstrek and the Honda HRV and they just didn't feel right. As soon as I sat in the Kona it felt right -- a goldilocks situation, as it isn't too big or too small. I'm still really happy with my Kona, enjoying the drive a year later! :)

Hyundai Kona

It drives well is comfortable to ride in and does surprisingly well on the Beltway. Our model is missing some bells and whistles that our Sonata has, but it a great second car for us. In summary, It is a very nice little vehicle.

Loved My Kona

I absolutely loved my Kona. I just needed a bigger car with more leg room for my tall boys and better air flow to the back seats would be great and I would actually like a powered trunk lift cause to get the trunk opened is a little tricky.

I love my Kona

We bought my Kona new. I have loved it from the gitgo. The gas mileage is good, It is a neat smaller size SUV, but really holds a lot when traveling. It is very easy for me to parallel park. I really love everything about it.

Kona

This car is perfect for me, not too small, not too big. It is a dream to drive, easy to park, and has some serious "escape" pick-up when needed. All around visibilty is very good, the Alert system when someone is getting too close or I am signaling a lane change is an added bonues, makes driving that much safer. I absolutely love this car!

Great satisfaction

Excellent car and good fuel economy. The seat are comfy, heated - only drawback Cargo space a little tight. Regarding performance, if you are driving in the mountain I would not recommend to use the cruise control. The engine works better using the manual gear. I am fully satisfied with my Kona.

Love it!

The Kona is great. Very reliable. I had another Hyundai which I had for almost 18 years. Hyundai makes a very reliable car. The Kona is a lot more stylish than their previous cars. I appreciate the styling as well as affordability. I would definitely recommend the Kona to friends and family.

Great car

This is a great car. One of the few cars that has a heads up display which is great. The small 1.6 liter Turbo engine has enough power and gets good gas mileage. The seats are comfortable and visibility is great.

It's named North American Utility Vehicle of the Year for a Reason

It's a sporty, great size, comfortable crossover. The car has great pickup, rides nicely, and is quiet. It supports Apple and Android phones, Sirius XM, bluetooth, and Blue Link. I highly recommend this car.

Another Hyundai Success

This is my 3rd and our family's 4th Hyundai product. I have been pleased with the ride and how long-lasting the cars have been. I was apprehensive about buying the first year of a model and brand new. I prefer a car having a track record to follow. Yet, so far, my expectations from this Hyundai product have been met as well as the others I have owned.

LOVE this car! It has such a fun ride to it. The lane assist is probably my favorite feature. It has made me a more confident driver. If the reliability of the car is as excellent as your customer service, we will be Hyundai customers for life!

Amazing Vehicle

I have had zero issues with the car other than the android auto. The car performance has been impeccable other than that. Gets amazing gas mileage, AWD has gotten me around safely in terrible weather conditions, LOVE the safety features! Its small so very convenient for parking. For a single person who doesnt need a lot of car space i dont think there is a better car out there. However the backseat is nearly nonexistent. If you frequently travel with people in your backseat this probably isnt the car for you. There isnt enough leg room for anyone bigger than 5'0 or more than 120lbs. Works fine for me because its just me and my dog. Every thing else is second to none.

I have had some great adventures in the Kona. I used to drive cross country but developed a phobia several years ago. The Kona makes me feel so safe and secure that I have driven cross country twice within the last 10 months ❤️❤️

My First SUV

This is the 3rd Hyundai that I have purchased from Jack Carroll's Dealership in Mount Vernon. I have been very happy with each one. The latest is the Hyundai Kona. I wanted an SUV because of the area I live in and I didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for it. I have had my Kona for one year and I am very pleased with it. It is loaded with wonderful safety features. The salesman I always seek out is Craig Gruber because there is never any pressure to buy but only valuable information to share. This car is very fun to drive and has so many features that are new to the car market.
