I love my Kona, it's a fun little SUV. Very satisfied with my sales rep, she went above expectations. The dealer staff were all great, very hospitable. The service tech was great and service was done in a reasonable time.

My Kona

Great car, fun to drive and great gas mileage. The car handles well, i would like to see a little more cargo room in the back but other than that i would recommend getting yourself the Kona for sure, go test drive one today.

Kona Ultimate

Very happy with the car. Only criticism would be in cornering. It leans too much in highway cornering, but makes up for that in ride quality. Steering and braking, I think, is excellent. Driving position is also excellent.

Fine auto fun to drive looks like a winner cargo area could be a tad larger, seats could be a tad more comfortable gas mileage good, transmission shifting a little rough, exterior styling good, lower end models should have fog lights

Kona the perfect sub-compact SUV

I've come to respect the quality, pricing and styling of the complete Hyundai lineup of vehicles. We purchased or leased an Elantra, 2 Tucsons, 1 Sante Fe and 2 Sonatas. I was looking for a vehicle to replace my Sonata so that I didn't have to bend over to take things out of my trunk. I was elated to find out that Hyundai was introducing the Kona to the US lineup. I did my research and came to the conclusion that the Kona would meet my needs. I didn't even ask for a test drive knowing that If I chose to purchase a Kona that it would deliver on quality. When I went into the dealership, all I needed to do was to open up the rear hatch to see if I had to bend over to put in or take out any cargo. It was the perfect for my needs, the best part is that the Kona far exceeded my expectations for comfort, styling and performance. I would by another Kona in a heartbeat. I showed off my Kona to my neighbors and a few of them went out and bought one too. Great job Hyundai.

Satisfied

Overall satisfied, great gas mileage, stylish outside, comfortable inside. My only complaint is when someone calls when you are in the car, it echo’s really bad and it’s hard to have any kind of conversation.

Black Kona/Black Interior

The vehicle is pure eye candy. There is very little storage space. Also, the car stumbles between the first 2 gears making it a little annoying to drive in the city. This thing is a beast on the highway though. Superb acceleration past 2nd gear.

Best decision

I have a 2018 model and I leased it. I love everything about this car. I feel safe, comfortable, and happy when I get into the drivers seat. I love every safety feature. I love Bluetooth. I love my sunroof. I love the size. I have two car seats in the back (grandson’s) at times, and I feel safe driving them. Just a wonderful match for me and my family.

fun car

This is a great little car. It gets very good mileage, comfortable for me to commute, looks sharp, and has all the accessories I need. I especially like the lane correct feature and the braking system. It is not a car for long legged people and the back seat does not have a lot of leg room. But for me and 2 elementary grandkids it fits perfectly.

2018 Kona

Love my Kona. First smaller car I’ve owned. In a nutshell: superior bumper to bumper warranty, all wheel drive proven this last winter, 4 cyl... but with the turbo it’s brilliant. For the price can’t beat it. I’m gonna look into the electric version when ready in a few years

I love this car. No regrets!

Although small and compact it handles the road like a sports car. Great on gas. I have the 2018 Kona 1.6T. It only needs another lighter port for charging phones or usb port. Needed for back seat passengers.

Noisy driving, too small trunk area

I do love the comfort & up high view I have as opposed to my Sonata. But the cabin is very noisy. Can’t tell if it’s fan from A/C or tires. Trunk space is limited unless I put seats down. Probably will trade up @ end of lease.

Exceeded Expectations. Very Satisfied. Great Deal.

Stylish. Reasonably priced. Performs well in all conditions. Unlikely to find a better deal than a Hyundai Value Edition anywhere. Included multiple safety features work great, provide feeling of security, and are great with insurance companies. Sound system and interior lighting could use a little upgrading, but accent headlights, front grill, and patterned cloth interior make for unique styling. Have had no issues with this car.

Great car!!!

This car drives like a dream. Absolutely flies in Sport Mode! Incredible mileage too!Really love the height as well. My Elantra was so low to the ground. It was exactly what I was looking for. A bit smaller than the Tucson, which is perfect for me. Saw it at the Auto Show when it first came out, and fell in love. Couldn’t wait for my dealership to get them in!

Amazing little crossover.

We love this little car. Incredible fuel economy, excellent handling, strong real world performance from the 1.6 turbo engine. Considering how small they are, it's pretty roomy and quite comfortable inside. All that, and has been extremely reliable as well.

2018 Hyundai Kona 1.6 Turbo, AWD

Love my car! I feel very confident and safe in it. It is easy to maneuver and park, especially with the back-up camera. Also, the beep and lights from the mirrors when a vehicle is in my blind spot is very beneficial. Handles hills well, and the acceleration is more than sufficient.

I love the looks of the Kona but not enough space to load everything needed. Love the lights at night they will automatically dim. Has enough room for dog cage to put in it for dog shows. Has a nice sunroof.

Best Small Sport Utility

This car is one of the best car to drive. It is easy and light. At the same time, it is quite sprightly. My wife loves the car (it is her present) and she likes to drive it quite a bit. The styling is unusual but easy to take in. The inside is done quite well. The only downside of the interior is that it only comes in black (when we purchased the vehicle). Compare to Mazda CX3, this car is much bigger. Our other option was Mazda CX5 but it was quite expensive when fully loaded. We opted for Kona because it was new and has everything we need.
