I'm very pleased with my new car. It looks great, is the perfect size, and elegant to drive. I traded in a car I loved, but after 12 years I knew needed to be replaced. I'm confident the Kona was the perfect replacement.

Love the car. I do not want to write 200 words. The design and price of the car are great. Drive wells. I will see sales tomorrow to drive the car for the noise about the steering. The sales department has been great!!

Kona

I really like how smoothe it drives. It is a great vechile to travel in. The trunk is a little smaller than I like, but it is something I can get use to. I really like the apple car play system. The screen helps me when driving to another city I am not familiar with to find my way around.

Kona

The car is still to new to give a accurate report. I like it it’s smaller then my 2004 Santa Fe , easer to drive , since I do not do long distance driving any more. I needed a smaller car to be able to park in the garage. I was very satisfied with my Santa Fe and wanted another Hyundai.

Great suv

I love this car size just right not to big or small. The car handles great drives awesome. Love the safety features and the blue tooth and phone connection is great. The all wheel drive is great especially living in the new England area.

Love this little SUV

This has been a surprisingly fun little car to own. It's really stylish looking and doesn't skimp on amenities. I purchased the Ultimate Kona Turbo with AWD. I can't wait to drive it up to Big Bear this winter. If you are looking at the competitors in this vehicle class, take this car for a test drive before you make your purchase.

Really Fun Car!

The Hyundai Kona is a great fit to the Hyundai SUV lineup and a great option for compact/crossover SUV lovers. The Kona gets >30 MPG and is a great option for anyone who wants a sporty, fun SUV but doesn't need a ton of room or size.

Satisfied with the Kona

The new Kona is the exact car we were looking for as a daily driver for my wife. She likes the size, the power and the excellent technology that is offered on the Ultimate. We have the Santa Fe Ultimate as a larger size vehicle for grandchildren and traveling.

great vehicle for the price

I am very happy with the vehicle. It drives well, has great features and is a great size. It has a great audio system. I wish it had a little more pick up but for the price, I got more than I expected in this vehicle.

The car is the Ultimate in this line but did not have many of the qualities that my 2014 Santa Fe had. I felt let down on leg room and quality of seat in the back. There was not a book on how to run or troubleshoot the navigation screen. There are many options for using, but you need to muddle through.

The Kona is a fun, powerful dynamo!

Love the look and handling of this car. Wish the blue had been a bit deeper or darker. More color options would be great. Many feature choices available. Dealer ship was easy to work with. Looking forward to seeing how it handles in the snow this winter.

Love the car. Don’t like the rattling inside the passenger front door and the intermittent connection with blue tooth. There is nothing else to say as I have not had it long enough to expand on your questions

Hyundai Kona

I wanted a small fuel efficient car with AWD that looked great and was fun to drive. I’ve never owned a Hyundai before,but friends and acquaintances told me that they believed Hyundai made a good car. I took a test drive and bought it the same day. The car handles well, is easy to get in and out of, and I have navigation with android auto without paying $2500 for factory installed navigation. Only downside is small trunkspace, other than that I love my Kona!

Hyundai Kona Limited 2018 is a terrific vehicle!

I did an extensive search for a new car and kept coming back to the Kona. It's well-styled, loaded with great features, and drives exceptionally well. The 1.6L Turbo engine has great power and the car handles exceptionally well. The driver's seat is fully adjustable with automatic controls making it extremely comfortable. The quality of the interior and exterior finishes is excellent. I feel totally safe driving this car. So very happy with my decision.

Awesome AWD fun to drive

This is my first AWD vehicle. Features and style are amazing. Handles well in bad weather. Interior is comfy. Sound system is pretty good. Has Apple Car play for navigation. Love the back up camera. Would totally recommend getting one.

Perfect for empty nester

The Kona is a prfect small suv for an empty nester grandma who wants a smaller vehicle, but still needs room for grandkids. It offers all the features and extras I was hoping to find that weren't offered in other small suvs. Great car!

2018 Kona Turbo Ultimate AWD: Great, Could be Greater

Knowing Hyundai via my 2014 Veloster Turbo, the improvements in interior and high-tech features are notable in the Kona! Plus, even at lower horsepower, the Kona is FASTER due to the 7 speed gearing and higher revving setup (via Sportsmode). Plus, it is 2 inches shorter, which for a city dweller like me, makes this car a home run. The lane keep assist (steering within the lines for you if needed) is a great safety feature, as are all the others (blind side monitoring, pedestrian detection, vehicle detection/i.e. it can brake for you on the highway if needed). What it's missing is the Smart Cruise Control (available on other Hyundais), the ventilated seats (also available on other Hyundais), and for Headsup Display, using Android Auto navigation (as the included navigation is klugey at best, plus why would you use it when you can just push a button and talk to Google maps?) I looked at the Mazda CX3...controls not-intuitive, interior definitely much nicer, but underpowered by comparison, and the storage space is no bueno in comparison (tiny in CX3.)...in my Veloster I was able to put two road bikes in (removed front tires on each)...I believe i can do the same in the Kona.

2018 Kona

I love the comfort and durability of the interior. The materials used on the inside will be easy to maintain over the years. It feels sporty but drives like a luxurious car. I love all the features. The only issue for me was mine didn't come with installed navigation. For the price I paid, it should have. But I was able to download Android Auto no cost. But that means I HAVE to have my phone hooked up to the usb port for Navigation. Also I have auto adjustable driver seat but the front passenger seat is manual which takes away from the luxurious aspect, not to mention looking down on the passenger since they cannot raise their seat??

Pros and cons

It's a nice vehicle. I like the larger wheels. (I had a curb problem with my Elantra.). I wish it had the Adaptive Cruise Control, compass on the rearview mirror, GPS in the vehicle what if I didn't have a cell phone?), dual climate control for driver/passenger, automatic unlatch feature for the lift gate. In short, put all the comfort/safety features of the Elantra in the Kona Limited and you'll have a perfect car! And, there should be a push button close option for the lift gate, to accommodate us short, elderly people! And, the owner's manual and especially the quick reference guide should clearly state which instructions apply to which models.
