My Kona

Overall I absolutely adore my Kona the look the style the feel the performance everything the only thing I think that they need to rethink is the quality of the molding around the wheel wells. It seems to be a little under quality. But the rest of the car I absolutely love.

Excellent

Excellent SUV! My second one! I had a 2018 one, it was my favorite car of all type that I’ve owned so far, loved it so much that I did replaced it to a new 2020 identical white one! To my surprise when I sat in the new one I started discovering so many technological improvements, better audio system (Infinity) that made a huge difference compared to the previous one, line assistance (system that warns and actively brings you in if you’re driving over or across lanes), garage opener integrated with rear view mirror, as well Blue Link, ?, wireless cell phone charger, and the only exterior change it is the “fin” satellite radio antenna, before it was actually an antenna. Love this Hyundai Kona Limited SUV, don’t want any different, that’s why this is my second one, and hopefully I’m 2022 the third one! Respectfully, Max Fernandez, RN

Love my new Hyundai Kona!

I had decided that I wanted to go back to an SUV again after having my Nissan Altima for quite a while. I considered the new smaller SUVs and what the best warranties were and decided to test drive the Hyundai Kona. I knew they were getting high ratings and are very popular in the United States and Europe. I was really pleased with the test drive and chose the beautiful Thunder Gray. The dealership was so professional and pleasant during the transaction and I'm really happy that I chose my new Kona!

Kona Car of the Decade

This is our second Kona. We absolutely love this car for many reasons. Appearance is so nice looking, we chose the Lime Twist color. Who doesn’t need brightness in their life?, The quality Is really excellent. I love the handling, it corners and maneuvers very well. Value is super! A very comfortable and stylish ride...not to mention sporty! ?

twenty years later

The brakes failed on my twenty year old Pontiac while driving it and I just didn't feel safe anymore. I've wanted a Hyundai since the first time I read about their fabulous warranty. The Kona is perfect for me. Handy hatchback, comfy ride, nice size for me. Lots of great safety features.

Love my new Kona!

I was coming out of a Acura ILX and wanted a SUV but did not need a large car. I test drove every small SUV out on the market. The Kona gave me everything I was looking for and love the look of the car compared to others. Technology placement and ease of use is superior. Fun car to drive.

kona lease

I traded my leased Tucson in for the 2020 Kona due to a need for a smaller SUV. I have had it only a month and due to the Coronavirus pandemic have not driven very much. I find the stability due to the shorter base less desirable and the ride not as smooth. will need to drive it more to reassess.

HATED IT!

Never should have purchased the vehicle in the first place, but I blame myself. I didn't fully realize how horrible the transmission/harsh and jerky shifting was until driving the vehicle more than just the test drive. This was my 5th Hyundai and I traded it in and lost thousands in less than 3 months. Would NOT recommend. There is also no storage space in cubbies, door pockets, glove box, console, etc. Even with the Limited trim, this is nothing more than a "budget" vehicle for those who want a cheap package like a tin can, although it had all the latest and greatest safety/driving features.

Love my New Kona

I really like driving my Kona, she's responsive, comfortable, and maneuvers downtown roads with ease. There's lots of storage, the sound system is good, and gas mileage is great. The added safety features help you stay alert while driving.

Great little car

Easy to get in and out of; I really liked my Sonata but due to some health issues I have it became more and more difficult getting into and out of the vehicle as it was very low to the ground. The Kona is like driving a miniature pick-up truck.

2020 Hyundai Kona Ultimate AWD

Quick acceleration and fun to drive with plenty of tech features. I'm averaging 30MPG with mixed back road, highway and city driving. This is calculated by the distance traveled between fill ups and the amount of fuel added, not the trip computer. Not bad for a fun to drive AWD car.

I love the vehicle. I've been purchasing Hyundai's since 2008. Hyundai's are reliable, good looking, very little repairs required. I just changed the oil, and various filters at the proper times. I highly recommend

My Hyundai Kona awd

Love my little SUV! AWD makes it safe in changing weather and sport mode gets me up and down to our cabin (in the mountains) just fine! Lots of extras vs other makers for the same price! Compare features given to price and you’ll see the value.

Great sporty vehicle

Great gas mileage for an AWD even around town. Drives & handles great, braking very quick. Overall it's a fun car to drive. Has a great sporty look but also very functional for every day use. Only "negative" is it doesn't have SiriusXM

I love my sunset orange Kona

Over the years I have driven the large SUVs, then the smaller crossovers. The Kona is now the perfect size for my needs. Two things I miss, the hands-free trunk and memory seats, otherwise it’s perfect.

Great!

Just recently started leasing this vehicle. Room size is great, maneuvering is great, styling great, and ease of using controls is much easier than other vehicle brands. I bought it this summer so have not been able to try it in the winter, which is the main reason for choosing this model. I live in an area that doesn't have the best road conditions in the winter so hoping that the reviews on the Kona's handling and ability to maneuver in the winter live up to the hype.

Snail but roomy and fun.

This is such a comfortable and fun car to drive. We find ourselves going for random drives now just to see places and enjoy the smooth ride listening to some tunes. I was nervous about going smaller in my car size but my stuff still fits in there and even my 6’4” friend said it was pretty comfortable. Days I don’t want to go to work I now say at least I get to enjoy the drive.
