Great Vehicle

Overall a great vehicle to purchase, great car for beginner drivers. I love the quality and unique design of the car. The transmission can be a little annoying in 1st,2nd gear when your going up a slight incline.

The Kona Night is not as impressive as the Limited/ultimate

I believe there was a lot of hype around this car but that hype must have been directed towards the Limited and Ultimate. I have test driven all 3 and the Night doesn’t drive as smoothly as the others. Also the interior is not as nice. I would have gotten the Limited had it not been for lack of cars on the lot due to the chip shortage.

Cute lil Kona

Great build. Cute car. We bought the base model, so the perks aren't great. Below average spaciousness in a sedan. Got this model for the AWD, since their other sedans were only 2WD. We came from an Audi A4, so our expectations were pretty high. Engine feels a lot different/weaker, but the gas mileage is better. Overall, we are pleased with our Kona, but not blown away. It's a good, reliable car.

I love this car

This is my first brand new car ever and it took a lot of research before I landed on the 2021 Kona SEL. It had almost every feature I wanted in a new car. It was only missing a sun roof (obviously not a dealbreaker) and a remote starter (which I can still add later). I would recommend this car to anyone interested in a solid subcompact SUV.

Use to expensive fancy cars. My first Hyundai. Bang for the buck. A lot of pep. Stylish. Electronics easy to use. Learning curve minimal to operate this vehicle. Seats comfortable. Nice color red. Very happy

Nice ride

Overall I love my Kona. The red color is exactly what I wanted. The steering and brakes are great. Love the heated seats in winter. The only reason for the 4 star rating is the acceleration is definitely lacking. Sometimes it kind of hesitates to get moving. The seats could be a little more comfortable, but they are adequate. Other than that, it's a perfect fit for me.

Great Experience

I really enjoy every chance I get to drive my 2021 Kona SEL, it has so many features that my previous vehicles didn't have and that I'm learning to use, such as backup camera, infotainment console, etc. It handles very well in any type of road conditions that I have encountered so far.

2020 Kona Night

This is the most fun you will ever have driving a car. 1.6T engine is a must have. People have to remember this is a small car. If you want a giant gas sucker this is not for you. The only people that get in the back are my fur babies on the way to the vet. Perfect fit for us. Test drive one and you will love it.

Love it peppy great gas miles just a little more room in the tailgate would be great overall the head room for our 6'6 kid is awesome def would of liked to had more options in the base model sad that I didn't go for next level

Great little SUV

I upgraded from a 2020 to a 2021 Model due to a promotion. Shortly after buying it I drove over 2500+ miles towing a trailer with it across the country with 2 cats. Never had a single issue with the Kona, the cats on the other hand..

Luxury and performance for an attainable price

I have always been a Subaru owner . I’ve always favored their all wheel drive and utility features . I have now fallen in love with my first Hyundai . It’s incredibly powerful and fast . It’s perfect for my 40 minute commute on busy highways. I love the stereo and luxury this car provides . I do not believe I would love this car as much if I wouldn’t have purchased the 1.6T . It is definitely worth the extra money .

Great vehicle for the price!

The 2021 Hyundai Kona Night Edition is a great vehicle for the price. From the technology to the safety features that came with the car is worth every penny and more. I would've really loved to have different interior material rather than 75% hard plastic.

World meet Opal

I recently purchased a 2021 Hyundai Kona with the Night trim package. I was in Montana visiting family but living in Las Vegas. My previous vehicle was a fully loaded Ford Edge Limited. I loved my vehicle but was looking for something smaller with better fuel economy that I could zip around town in easily that still provided AWD for trips home. The Kona caught my eye (#1 subcompact crossover in the world 2020, #1 subcompact crossover 2021 on Edmunds.com). I bought my little Kona and drove home. On the 1100 mile journey we averaged 35.1 mpg, easily navigated the traffic and turns along the way and generally enjoyed the trip. Fourteen hours and the driver’s seat wasn’t as comfortable as my old vehicle and you definitely feel the road more. Will probably upgrade the suspension at some point but overall I am very satisfied with my purchase after the first week.

Love my Kona

Absolutely love my Kona! Great features & mileage plus it looks sporty yet it's an SUV. The rebates I received when bought were too notch and couldn't pass them up. The mileage is much greater than my Chevy Cruz. Highly recommend this car
