Looks awesome..

The Santa Cruz is definitely a head turner..looks very stylish and has all the features that I expect Awesome handling and plenty of power when you need it.Gad mileage is really good and I am very pleased Kudos to the design team.. job very well done.

Powerful and stylish.

We looked for 2 years for a new vehicle. It had to have an ability to carry our equipment we use for our disaster relief but be an everyday vehicle when we are home. Check. Check. We looked at dealership but nothing could be found. We went on YouTube and say a few reviews of the new Santa Cruz. I called a dealership but there was none to be even trial driven. We took a leap and ordered a brand new SC and put all our preferences in it. It was easy enough. (Much easier than programming the phone pairing.) There is a lot of reading there. I would ask that they offer more paint and seat options. I am not fond of the leather used.

Feels great riding it

Did not know about car when shopping for new one. Was looking at either a Palisade or a Telluride when I saw this at the Hyundai dealership. Loved the style ,ride ,and features and had great towing capacity for the turbo model. So far so good have it 3 months no problems. People like the look and have had number of comments.

We were looking for a smaller vehicle (as compared to a Ford F-150) that still provides adequate cargo space for hauling items to a cabin etc. The Santa Cruz behaves like a car, SUV etc but has a well sized "truck bed". The integrated tonneau cover is easy to handle, and the bed material does not require the purchase of additional protection (rhino lining etc). The standard safety features on this vehicle are comparable to what we see in the Genesis GV80 we also own.

Great all around vehicle

Thought I was going to have to get a "Basic B" crossover. Fortunately there's an alternative out there. Just enough suv and just enough truck. The bed is incredibly versatile. Under bed "trunk" for small items that would roll around. Lots of lighting in the back for unloading at night. Pulls my 5x10 trailer with ease when taking loads to the mulch center and landfill. Wish there was a tow mode. The driver assistance features are great. The interior is very nice and comfortable. Ride quality is great. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Great vehicle that is fun to drive!

This truck is so fun to drive and has all the safety features that I could want. It handles well. The truck has a lot of room inside- including the back seat! The seats are comfortable and the car looks awesome!

Very nice vehicle needs a few more comfort convenience features more space inside, heads up display, wifi hotspot bigger cup holders, automatic door locks when exiting vehicle, better lighting inside vehicle

Not like any other

I wanted something unlike all the other SUVs and we already had a pickup truck. I tried a car but then I saw the Santa Cruz Night! Perfect! This thing is sporty, has towing capability, rides comfortably on a long trip and it doesn’t look like every other vehicle! Love it!

Looks great, feels great. Could use more features.

Better to say what it could use then type. I have ideas that would benefit Hyundai this truck is very advanced for what it is. However, again, it is better to speak it, then type it. This truck has so much potential.

Just test drive it!

This truck is amazing for its size. It feels like a sports car, with truck capabilities. The 2.5L Turbo engine is remarkable. It has great pickup and some really great safety features. The truck has its own look and style. Very smooth looking, with a really cool sparkling clear coat.

I love this truck. I purchased this for all wheel drive and a small pickup bed it took care of both of my needs. I was going to buy a Toyota pickup but I saw this on the lot and really liked the look. I took it for a drive and bought it on the spot.

Hyundai Santa Cruz purchase

The Santa Cruz is awesome. Drives and handles like a luxury car but the advantages and fun of a SUV or truck. I have not found anything about the vehicle that I dislike. I recommend the Santa Cruz for anyone that enjoys the outdoors.

sporty but Hyundai needs to rethink bed cover

this truck is fun to drive and looks sporty , but cannot understand why a company would put a built in bed cover ( making it difficult to change ) that is not water proof making it hard to travel with ( putting luggage/ clothes/ purses) or even taking it to the grocery

Great vehicle but needs power passenger seat and memory function.

We’ve only had this car 2 weeks but love it so far. Comfortable and surprisingly quick. The bed with under bed storage and tonneau cover is great. We have gotten better mileage than is listed. Wish it had knobs for radio but isn’t a big deal. Setting up all the functions is time consuming and confusing until you get the hang of it. Accessories are expensive and are much higher than if they had come on the vehicle. For example, running boards as an option are about $600.00-$700.00. Purchased as an accessory they are about $1100.00. ???. Overall though we are more than satisfied.

Great Ute

Overall this has been great so far. Very practical and it fits 4 people reasonably well. There have been some transmission recalls but hopefully they have this fixed for the 2023 models. The only real downside for me so far is the gas milage. I would love a future hybrid version of this.

2023 Santa Cruz SEL with Activity Package

We use the Santa Cruz as our regular drive. It is comfortable, easy to drive and park, and practical for most of our purposes. Neighbors and even strangers remark about how great the vehicle looks and ask "what is it"!

Nice vehicle

I love the car. It’s not really a truck. It is a very cool concept and I like the idea of a vehicle covering two segments of the market. I do feel the body has to much tool on curves and although the brakes work they could be former feeling.

Pleased with the vehicle

So far we are pleased with the vehicle. Gas mileage could be a little better, but overall not bad. Wish the back seat had a little more leg room. We are still learning about all of the features. We will be taking a trip soon and will be able to jusge the vehicle more then.
