I love the styling, handling, performance and comfort. But....

Overall, I love my 2025 Santa Cruz / SEL / Activity Package. Many things about the infotainment system make me crazy. The console armrest / storage lid is not well thought out. When in the driver's seat and you open the lid (arm rest), which hinges from the back, the lid pops up and blocks access to the storage...unless you are double or triple-jointed. This seems like it would have been obvious to any engineer who actually sat in the driver's seat and tried to reach something out of the console storage. I spent months trying to figure out the infotainment system and had several friends and neighbors try to help me. I did go back to the dealership and someone there helped with some of the settings, but some of my issues with it are just the way it is designed. The radio settings just don't remain the same as you left them before turning the truck off and then on again.

This is a really nice little pickup. It has a smooth ride. Perfect for trips to the home improvement stores. Not too big and is easy to park.

Loving my Cruz!

Love it, but why can’t the limited have some of the features the Tuscon limited’s have? Heads up display and the charging pad on the arm rest, to name a couple.

The Santa Cruz Se no extras

The Hyundai Santa Cruz SE is the lowest tier model you can buy. The model is very well equipped standard. The SE model leased came with running boards and carpet floor mats as added extras. Many options included are quite surprising. A glass cockpit for one is a huge upgrade from the old personal vehicle I was operating on a daily basis. Lane assist, blind spot warning, selectable drive modes, and apple carplay are among many of the included standard items that feel as if they should be extras in my opinion but a much welcome standard inclusion. After three years of research on the Santa Cruz and waiting for the right time to get mine I was forced to acquire one sooner than I had anticipated due to the ridiculous tariffs imposed on foreign imports. In able to afford the higher model options was a disappointment for me. However I am very happy and great full for the stone blue model that I possess. I was torn between choosing the Santa Cruz or the Ford Maverick. Both meet my needs however the Santa Cruz is much more stylish and desirable in my opinion. Having a ford for over 30 years and the bi-anual malfunctions became another deciding factor for me. I hope to own my Santa Cruz for the next 30 years.

I would rate this outstanding if it was not for the transmission. Once I have it serviced for the first time hopefully they can adjust it.

Just ok

It's just ok. The sunroof leaks in heavy rain or the car wash. Back seat it smaller than i originally thought. Gas mileage is not the greatest. I miss my original santa fe but alas they changed that model.

The Santa Cruz function that doesn’t exist

I was disappointed to realize that the back seat doesn’t fold down to add deck capacity. It would’ve been a very clever way to increase the carrying area of the truck deck.

Can’t drive with sunglasses and use cruise control

The safety controls require that you remove your sunglasses if you want to use cruise control during the day. This makes no sense and is a serious design flaw.

Hyundai Santa Cruz

Every feature is perfect. I am a small woman who drives 100% of the time, as my husband is blind. We previously had three Santa Fes and the difference is striking. The steering is effortless, tires hug the road, turbo 🥰, love the bed and how easily I can open and close. I definitely miss the little area between the console and the gear shift to staff a few things. But that’s my only issue! Oh and stereo… perfection!

This is my favorite Hyundai vehicle, by far, and exceeded all expectations. I have been a Hyundai fan for over 25 years and recommend them over any other auto maker out there. When it comes to fit and finish, features and quality Hyundai surpasses them all.
