Love It.
We had driven Toyotas for years and at one time owned 4 Camrys. Because of my husband's Parkinson's Disease we needed a SUV so it would be easier for him to get in and out and would have an automatic passenger side seats. We could not find a Toyota to meet our needs. We started and looking and looked at Hyundai, among other brands. Our son had a Tuscon, then traded for a Santa Fe Sport, which he liked, and so did we. After looking for about 6 months, we found the Santa Fe Sport met our needs, and wants, the best. I wanted red, or about anything other than black, gray or white, so I was kind of picky that way. We were contacted by Stew Hansen and told there was a red Santa Fe Sport available. We went and drove the car and it was just what we needed and wanted. We discussed the matter and decided to go with it. We have loved it since.
I love the automatic passenger seat and the drivers seat memory. I love the layout of the dash. I love the interior and the comfort of the seats. I love the fact there are numerous plug ins for cell phones and laptops. I love the radio, I love the fact that I don't have to use a key to lock and unlock the car. I do wish the cost of another fob was not so expensive though. I especially love the GPS and the very large map and the clarity of the map. The back up camera is one of the two or three best things about the car, I rely on it so much , especially the three division of closeness, and the size of the area that the camera covers. I love the fact that I can just slide into the seat and not have to scrunch down to get in, this was so handy for my husband. He could move the seat many ways when he was riding and became very uncomfortable. I love the fact I can check for tire air pressure in the car, estimated gasoline useage when traveling. In fact the things I would change are minimal and minor. The one thing would be better cup holders in the back seat, and the fact that I cannot clean the very top back window using a standard gas station squeezie. I have not had any issues with the vehicle at all and if I thought I would ever purchase another vehicle I would most surely consider purchasing an other Santa Fe Sport. When I have ridden in competitor brand vehicles they seem very inferior and cheap in almost all ways. Good job Hyundai!
