Santa Fe sport

Love the vehicle. Comfortable yet sporty. Handles well in all kinds of weather and road conditions. All the bells and whistles. Good gas mileage. Room fr garden equipment, camping gear, road trip essentials and companions.

Not informed of recall. Engine blew up!

Recall on 2013 Santa Fe engine. Not informed. 3 teenage girls Left stranded on highway. Engine still under warranty. Cannot get loaner. May require more than a month to fix. Need vehicle to go to work. Having to fight with Hyundai. Will not recommended Hyundai because of poor customer services to new car buyer. With car under warranty you would think I would be getting total satisfaction and cooperation. Not happennig.

THE GREAT SANTA FE

It has been a fantastic suv!!! We get around 29+ mpg on the highway and around 24 in the city. We have about 84,000 miles on the suv and still rides great. Plan to get 150,000 before I trade. The only complaint I have is that the passenger side front seat does not go up or down. However, looking at the new Santa Fe, they now have that option plus many more great options A great suv and the service at Oxmoor Hyundai CANNOT be beat. Thanks and have a great day.

This is my second Santa Fe. When I get a new car I will certainly look at another one. Gave my first one to my daughter & she has driven across country several times. I recommend to family members and they have bought one.

I just love the Santa Fe, it rides very nice. It has so much features and am still learning how to work everything. Seat warmers is awesome. I like having a service feature to let me know when to have the car serviced. I love my Santa Fe.

Best car I have ever had besides my Elantra. . .

This car has been a toy for me. It runs smoothly and well. Being turbo, it is a joy to drive, specially during traffic congestion. For long trips is a joy, quited and confortable. Have had no issues with it at all. Done oil changes when due and with less than 60,000 miles only new tires recently and an AC broken hose. Strongly recommend and would buy again if able with sunroof and CarPlay. Great vehicle and better dealer than my original one!

Engine failure

I needed to replace my engine at 114,000 miles, Hyundai said they would not help and hung up on me. Would never recommend a Hyundai to anyone. I actually like the car, but the quality of the product leaves a lot to be desired.

Worst vehicle purchase ever

Hyundai lied to us about the fuel economy when we bought it. They first tried to put us in one the wrong color. Then, when they had the right color it was not equipped as advertised. We had to bring the window sticker back in to show them what was supposed to be on the vehicle they sold us. At 106,000 miles, 6,000 out of warranty, the engine spun a rod bearing. The service manager at the dealership said "I don't know what happened, we never have any problems with that engine". I found out later there had been a recall on that engine for the two model years prior for that exact issue. A few months after I repaired the engine myself (I couldn't afford the $7,000 Hyundai wanted to repair it) a recall came out on my year.

Nice but room for improvement

I love my Santa fe however it really wish I had gotten all wheel drive. This truck is not good in Michigan winters. It slides and gets stuck. My tires were pretty new. I even though I would just change them and the guy at the dealer told me they didn't need it. I am not looking forward to my winter commute coming soon

Marginal

This Sante Fe gets terrible gas mileage - maybe 18mpg at best. I’ve Replaced the tires & the brakes twice within 50k miles. This vehicle is Not good in snow. There were a couple of recalls on this vehicle as well. I had a very difficult time reaching anyone at Hyundai’s main office when I was trying to buy out my lease, which I’ll never do again - VERY COSTLY.

DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND.

I purchased my 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport brand new and I will NEVER purchase a Hyundai again. It has been a huge dissatisfaction. My Bluetooth has always been faulty. And the most HORRIFIC thing happened. Driving the far left lane of a major interstate going about 70 miles per hour with my two kids in the back seat, my ENGINE DIED! The worse experience ever, my son was crying in the back seat because he was so scared. Luckily, we made it over to the shoulder of the interstate safely. The dealership had the car for over a month and I had to call to check on the status of my car. Well supposedly, they put in a brand new engine for me, but the nightmare continues. In less than a week after I picked it up, my engine light came back on. This is unacceptable and I do not feel safe in my car. I WILL NEVER BUY A HYUNDAI EVER AGAIN. The worse car ever made. I would advise everyone for the safety of their lives and their families don’t buy an UNTRUSTWORTHY and UNRELIABLE brand.

This is my 3rd Hyundai and have been very happy with them all I am coming up on 88 or would probably be buying another one, I don't think I have had cars that have started so easy and now with just a push of the button is even easier.

Very pleased.

I love my 2013 Santa Fe. I think it's better looking than all of the current years. Tire size is better looking, gas mileage is better, horsepower is more and I've had no problems with it with over 100,000 miles.

My 2013 Santa Fe

My 2013 Santa Fe now has about 85,000 miles on it. When we first bought it, my wife thought it was too big. She no longer thinks it is too big. It is easy handling, has great features and rides well. We have taken on on several 2,100-mile trips to Cleveland, where we have grandchildren and it has performed well.

Sante Fe

Have been very happy with the car. Do wish gas mileage was better but is better than my MDX. Not sure what else I can say, I have been very pleased with the vehicle and hope it lasts many years. Several friends have Sante Fe style also and are happy. Keep up the good work.

Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2013

The side view visibility remains to be unresolved. The position of miror creates a dangerous blind spot. The car is very nice but the engine is noisy when standing outside the car. Despite all these the car is very nicely made.

A good car. Drives great. Wish it had a little more leg room in car. I wish the windows on side in back was easier to see out of. Have to be careful when changing lanes. For the money it is a good car.
