disappointed

Had to replace a starter lever which was broken in half and caused my being stranded on a busy road. Why Hyundai would make that moving plastic part and put it in the middle of an engine makes no sense. Of course it's eventually going to break which is what happened. It also cost a lot to repair because the starter is so deep inside the engine compartment. Very disappointed and wasted my whole day.

Love my Santa Fe

Have driven my Santa Fe for 6 years with no problems. Love the style, comfort and performance of this vehicle. I’ve promised to pass it down to my granddaughter in two years and will be looking at a new one for myself at that time.

Reliable

The car has had minor things happen to it since I purchased it new but overall the car has never totally broken down on me and is always reliable For the year it has an ample amount of comforts. In my opinion It has Sleek styling for a CUV.

On the edge of being great.

I truly love my 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe but it’s just on the edge of being great. It is comfortable, fun to drive, has all the bells and whistles and is a great road trip vehicle. The only think that’s keeping it from being great is the gas mileage. Rating said 20 city and 27 highway with an average of 23. I get 13-18 city and 23-25 Highway. 26-ish if I can consistently use cruise control. I did just have an issue where the engine shut off while I was driving 70 MPH on an interstate. Had it towed to the dealer to find I had SIX recalls. Was notified about one - a clip needed to be replaced but was not a safety issue. This issue was one with the computer. It was updated and works fine. So my advise would be to make sure you check with your dealer to see if there are recalls. This is a good practice for all vehicles, not just this one.

Love my car!!!

My Santa Fe sport is nothing short of amazing. I love my car and it rides like a dream. My kids love how spacious it is and living in Florida and taking trips it has ample enough cargo space for us to enjoy every moment.

Great car, I have it for six years now. It doesn't give much problem, especially mechanically. Very convenient the size is just enough, not too bulky. Unlike others. The recall is great, they fixed right away.

Hyundai Sante Fe 2013

Have a 2013 Santa Fe 2.0 Turbo . has had 1 minor recall and all of its service calls, oil changes, tire rotations etc... Have never had a problem period. I always use fuel injector cleaner once a month religiously. We hold on to our vehicles 4 10 years always, we get our money worth. Will purchase another in 2023, love this car !

Santa Fe

Love my car!!, bought it new and can’t think of a reason to change to another brand. The Auburn Hyundai dealer is great!! On occasion I had to have my car serviced under a warranty issue and will always go back to Auburn where I bought the car. I have sent others to buy cars there.

I love it

It's powerful, luxorious, its loaded with comforts and its spacious and comfortable. I love leather seats, the heated front and back seats, heated steering wheel, the blue tooth connection, the gps..Its an excellent car.

Could be better

Our experience with our 2013 Santa Fe sport has been a very mixed bag. Overall, this vehicle has some very nice features it’s spacious with great cargo space, has comfortable seating, good electronics (except for the doors locks that were never fixed) However, the suspension system (probably the struts) didn’t hold up well at all. The ride was comprised in just 2-3 years. Additionally, the vehicle handling on a highway was always poor until the factory tires were replaced with a good set of michelin tires after 50,000 miles. Lastly, our engine failed at 79,000. miles just a few weeks ago while we were on vacation. Although it was covered under warranty, we felt betrayed because we were never apprised of the possibility that this could happen in that model year. This was not the vehicle we expected when we purchased it in 2013.

We purchased our 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport brand new in fall of 2013. It's been a really nice, comfortable, dependable vehicle for the five years we've owned it. We love the leather interior, the seats and easy to operate controls.

2013 Hyundai Santa Fe

Upon first seeing a 2001 Santa Fe in a showroom, the design and style drew me to test drive it, and from there buying it, right out of the showroom. I have never been disappointed with it. I still own it, and my son uses it now. In 2007, I bought another one, and gave it to my daughter, which she totally loved. Now in my 2013, my wife and I will not venture to another brand, as we are totally satisfied with the Santa Fe model, specifically its' styling, durability, comfort, gas mileage, all the tech features, and the excellent service I get from the dealer.

Great vehicle that put me down

Its a beautiful vehicle. I love that design and it has been reliable until one of the recall items (which I had replaced bit I guess this still can happen) caused the engine to blow up while we were driving on the highway:( Life flashed a front of my eyes at that moment, we had 3 adults and my son 3yo in the car when that happened. Thanks God my husband was driving and was able safely drive off from far left lane to the grassy are on the right. There were large 18 wheelers on the road and about to drive over a bridge. That was by far scariest moment of my life. I couldn't stop thinking that and about what could of happened. Vehicle was at 80000 (+-) miles at the time and under power train warranty it covered repaired at the dealership and loaner vehicle for the time needed for the repairs. Repair took two month, my Hyundai is running perfectly now.

Fun to drive

I have owned a Santa Fe sport and 2.0 turbo for almost 5 years. The turbo provides great accelerate for highway merges. The car handels well with the steering set in sport mode. Plenty of room for packing for vacation. the two issues I have with the car are the gas mileage and road noise level. That is the reason for four star rating.

I have 2 Santa fe s...other than the oil changes, wipers,brakes ,,,wear problems, they are the best. Never any problems, go in the snow, start up in cold weather...and I have had other suv's toyota, Isuzu and Mazda....you get so much for your money! The safety features was why I got one for my daughter(the ultimate deluxe)

Santa Fe strong

We've had this SUV for over 50,000 miles and it still is like the day we drove off the car lot when it was new. Have only had one recall and it was handled promptly. This is our second Santa Fe and there will be a third.

2013 Santa Fe

Santa Fe is a very reliable vehicle. Only one thing I would recommend is more visual space in the rear side window. Window seems to be somewhat high on the vehicle. A little more leg room for the back passenger seat.

Review

I bought it for the gas mileage facture but a little disappointed that the published number are for perfect weather only. The gas mileage goes way down in winter Wisconsin weather .Very disappointed in the back up camera, doesn't work and cost too much to have it fixed.
