The best vehicle on the market, Price, style, and very easy on your gas budget, try it & you will buy it,I have purchased 3 Hybrids,2013, and we have a 2016 & a 2017, nothing like a hybrid, no plug in just drive.

Losing faith in Hyundai

I purchased a Hyundai because of the reliability and warranty, but having owned it for 18 months and having it in for repair 3 times I am reconsidering my thoughts. How does a catalytic converter go bad in 20,000 miles? I am not giving up just yet as they have been great at fixing everything under the warranty. Hopefully all the problems are all worked out now as I love the car.

Love my Sonata Hybrid SE

I like the performance when you put it in Sport mode and the overall mileage is excellent, averaged 43.24 mpg overall last year. People can't get over how roomy it is. Only wish it had a spare tire-not token on not having a spare.

First New Hyundai

I wanted to take a moment to write a review on the 2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. This is my first new vehicle, and I could not be happier. The fuel economy is excellent, the fit and finish on the vehicle is great as well. I also love how quiet this vehicle is on the highway. The seats are also comfy as I am 6ft 4 inches tall so this vehicle give you the best legroom in it's class. This was a big factor when buying my new Sonata. All in all, I would buy this car again in a heart beat. Plus the styling is great. I love my Sonata Hybrid.

Great car

No issues at all. Even when I had a flat tire, I was initially worried about the inlafyion system but quickly realized that Hyundai Assurance got me taken care of and I didn’t have to worry about changing the tire at all.

This is a great hybrid vehicle, we have saved hundreds of dollars in gas since we bought it in 2016. The driving experience is great. It is also very spacious inside and in the trunk. We highly recommend this hybrid vehicle.

Plug in 2016 Hyundai Sonata

Great car overall! Enjoying the Hybrid/ plug-in feature, heated seats AND stearing whell in the winter; smooth riding and the fact that I drive to and from work on one battery charge ! Also I like the possibility of charging the batteries while driving!!

Second Hyundai Sonata Hybrid

Very good vehicle that is comfortable and fun to drive. It gets great mileage on trips. It runs on EV more than the first hybrid I owned. This car has a lot more features than the first hybrid I owned.

Not as well made as the Kias I have owned

Have "limited" model with sunroof. Car is barely 2 years old but the sunroof creeks like an old bus. Dealer says not under warranty. It has needed several warranty repairs while I have had 3 Kias with no problems. Sometimes the computer reboots for no apparent reason while driving. Don't know why we can't set it to turn on in "normal" mode, not eco. Otherwise pretty nice car.

Brain dead

The plug-hybrid doesn't come with a PTC electric heater. This means the gas engine needs to run and gulp loads of gas if you want any heat. For car that is supposed to be an electric vehicle first with a gas backup, not having a PTC electric heater is a major, major design flaw. I hate car because of it.

I love the safety features on this car

The most useful single feature is the adaptive cruise control. Besides the convenience on the open highway, where is greatly reduces fatigue, it is indispensable in congested traffic. Creepy, crawly stop-and-go driving is no longer a tense chore. The car follows traffic in front, and accelerates , slows, or stops as necessary. I can relax and just steer.

I absolutely love my 2016 Sonata Hybrid. It has served me well over the past 2 years. I am getting an avg of 45 mpg combined city/highway. It has also been very reliable transportation. No major mechanical problems. The interior is functional (Will upgrade to leather on my next vehicle) and the exterior is stylish. No complaints from this Hyundai owner.

Awesome Car to date

Awesome car for the money, gas mileage is amazing and super comfortable. The extras in this car really make it feel great and it’s so relaxing to drive. Front bumper is a little low so it can drag in some parking lots. The paint under the door handles seems to be affected by water and leaves streaks after it rains or you wash it. Overall it’s a nice car and quite on the inside. Seats are comfortable and there is loads of room in car and the trunk. Head lights are nice and bright. The dash and center console are also nice, bright well laid out and feel very modern.

This truly is a great car for the money! Great mileage. Great performance. Enough room for the family. Can hold four suitcases easily or all of your groceries for the week. Quick acceleration. Hyundai has come a long way!

Great value for the money. Love the gas mileage. Love the safety system, especially alerts when pedestrians passing behind the vehicle or when too close to a vehicle when changing lanes. GPS system is great to use-love the voice activated system.

so far so good cept for cruise control. Ive never written characters in my life. I wont be buying a hyundai again just because of the cruise control problem and how it compares to other cars i have driven.
