Sonata the most mileage and style for the money

2011 Sonata SE gets 37 mpg and is the best in styling even today. We keep it like new outside inside and the engine bay.paddle shifters,mag wheels,factory,extra cost pearl white paint. Black leather bolsters on the seat stiffer suspension on the SE.

Absolutely the most bang for the buck

I have been pleasantly surprised with my 2011 Sonata. It has been virtually problem free. I have been diligent to keep up the recommended maintenance and have had zero problems with the car. It gets great fuel mileage and has been the most dependable car I have ever owned, and was a bargain at a purchase price of less than $25k.

My Sonata

From the moment I sat in the 2011 Sonata I knew it was the car for me. It was a newer style than the '09 Sonata I was driving. This newer model had more position in the front power seat, and the view out the windshield was less constricting. I had a clearer look at traffic. Being short in stature this car gave me the look I wanted to see when I sat behind the steering wheel.

Best Vehicle I've ever Owned

My wife and I feel this is the best vehicle we've ever owned. The only actual repair we've had to do in 84,000 miles was to replace the outer front tie rod ends due to wear and that was a non-chargeable repair. Of course we have had tires and front brakes replaced but again those are routine wear items and not unexpected expenses. The car is as quiet now as it was when it was new and the motor/transmission are smooth and dependable with great gas mileage. We have always been notified well in advance of any recall items and have never been directly affected by any of the recalls since the local dealerships have seen to the repairs immediately when we had our vehicle in for routine service. I can only hope that Hyundai keeps up the outstanding workmanship of their vehicle line.

Great car, excellent performance!

It's a sharp, smooth ride with great performance and gas economy. It is a handsome car, and has 200 horses under the hood to get you where you need to go, and fast! The interior is classy and comforting, with no boring square boxes like typical US brands. This car is made in Georgia i believe, which boosts your love for it. Mechanically it is care-free and has all of the basic bells and whistles like auto windows & door locks, AC, stereo, Sirius if wanted, easy steering with hands free phone and music controls, along with your cruise control. The warranty cant be beat!

Sonata

The car has not given me any trouble so far. IThe car has had its regular check ups and recalls done. I don't like the recalls, especially 3 or 4 in one year, but they had to be fixed. It is a terrific car, one that I have liked from the start! Although mine has low mileage, it is a good car and one that I think I can use! Your dealership has some good mechanics in it and I have no complaints.

THIS CAR SHOULD BE REPLACED ..OVER 13 RECALLS..THINGS BREAKJNG ALL THE TIME. THIS CAR IS AN ABSOLUTE LEMON. TIRED OF PUTTING MONEY INTO THIS CAR. YOU FIX SOMETHING, 3 DATS LATER SOMETHING ELSE IS WRONG. ENGINE SEIZES..THEY REPLACE IT..BUT GIVE YOH YOUR CAR BACK WITH MORE PROBLEMS TAHT WEREN'T THERE BEFORE. HYUNDAI SHOULD GIVE ANYONE THAT OWNS A 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA, A NEW CAR OR MONEY TO PUT DOWN ON A NEW CAR. THIS CAR US NOTHING BUT A HEADACHE

never got the great mileage

From the very first day the car never even got close to the projected MPG. I have kept a spreadsheet for the last 6 years and the car (a Hybrid) is averaging (town and country) 25.59746511 MPG. Hyundai sends me cash cards and gave a nice check at the beginning. In it 2nd year of life it spent 30 days in the shop and had many parts in the system replaced since then no major breakdowns. The fly by wire system leaves a lot to be desired, but that is what you get. I would never buy another hybrid and probably not buy another Hyundai/Kia because they are not going to make a diesel. My next vehicle will be diesel

The worse car i ever had

Really expensive to buy parts if not cover undr warranty. Dont do it!! You will endup with a HOTpotato on your hands and no direccion to take unless u have thousands of dollars to throw away on this pieces of crap. Cheap pos.

Solid, reliable vehicle

This is the first vehicle I have purchased new after driving for over 40 years. It has consistently been reliable, solid, comfortable and efficient. I only drive around 6,000 miles per year, primarily I commute by bicycle and use my vehicle for longer trips. I would reccomend Hyundai to anyone who wants a competitive and high value motor vehicle.

My love for my sonata is fading!

I have a 2011 sonata limited it ended up getting pretty much a whole new front end from tie rods to ball joints and on and on!!! Every time I hit a bump in the road I would look out my rear view to see if there were any parts laying on the road!for only having 70,000 that’s a bit much to be replaced and I baby my car. The recalls keep coming and now it’s using oil really Hyundai do better there are more cars out there!!!!!! Cheaply made!!!

I like the Hyundai Sonatas. Excellent Machine

I like the Sonatas because they are efficient and comfortable. They have four doors. The seats are heated in winter if needed and the ventilation system is great.. The interior is great and the car is affordable. I consider my car a luxury middle size car. It may look small but is not.

2011 sonata

Very pleased with this car, bought new in 2011 and have had great service I have @ 160,000 miles and only had tires replaced and oil changes. Just had the brake pads and disc changed on all four wheels. Very pleased with driving coast to coast over 6 times. Will probably buy a new Hyundia soon.

Awesome car

I love my car! It's a 2011 and I only have 64,000 miles on it! Very happy with my car! I get great gas mileage on both highway and city driving. The trunk is really large and the seats are very comfortable. It's a great car!

Won’t own a Hyundai again...

After owning only Honda’s for most of my life, I purchased a 2011 Hyundai Sonata used. After a broken ignition, electrical problems, a faulty muffler and continuous recalls that need to be fixed, I am sure to never make this mistake again. Both my car and the service I have received at two separate Hyundai dealerships has been far from ideal. Back to Honda’s for me...

Fine car.

Sonata hybrid 2011 is a car that handles very well. Road noise is excellent, fit and finish is outstanding. Recall issues and dealer service is outstanding. However, the battery can use an improvement overall and since this is a hybrid, attention to this issues should be top priority. Fuel economy is short from advertised data. This needs to be worked on. The car gets an average of 29mpg vise advertised data of 39 to 41mpg. I wish Hyundai can improve this gas mileage as promised.

2011 Sonata is here to stay

It is a 2011 Sonata and my wife loves it. With over 115,000 miles a few things have stopped working - cruise control, seat warmers for instance. Any time i suggest we look at replacing it, she gives me the look - translated to mean, not only no but hell no.

Do not buy

Repairs are pretty expensive for this car since it is a hybrid. The car runs smooth and everything which is good but the problem about this car when something is wrong with it doesn’t give you a fair warning with the engine light it just breaks.

Reliability with style!

Love my Sonata! It’s my second. I have a 4 cylinder with a turbo so I enjoy great gas mileage and when I need it, it’s got some serious get up and go. I drive back and for to Boston and the car really handles great on the interstate.
