Sonata Sport 2015 - I got it for...
I needed another vehicle because my Chevy Suburban needed to be donated, and I was working downtown, parking in a structure. My adult offspring suggested Hyundai for the Warranty - which has just been expanded due to some experiences. (That is good manufacturer follow-through!) Doesn't carry all I want for my professional society activities/responsibilities, but IS a good commuter car, and DOES fit well in the narrower slots of parking structures! Very good gasoline mileage.
The front seat backs are too curved to sit up sort of straight. Puts me into a slouch. They seem to have been designed, especially with the forward tip of the head-rests, for driving in a more reclined posture. I have a small pillow to place behind my back to keep me forward of the deep curve. Wish I could reverse the head-rest.
The seat of the seats is comfortable enough for 3 hour trips. The controls of the driver seat allow for a great deal of adjustment
I got the 2015 Sonata Sport because I can hear the turn signal indicator! But the Digital Compass is great! I like that there is a button to switch between Normal, Eco, and Sport drive modes. Using Eco drive, I can get 32 mpg Highway/Interstate (well, that's what the calculator panel says). I like that Sport drive mode stiffens the steering, giving more control on sharp turns. Also good for ON Ramps with 4 in the car, which happens rarely, because it can be a little cramped for leg-room in the back seat.
Lots of features, and a lot of function and status 'windows' for the center panel. Another such feature is the collision avoidance detection system, mostly in my experience associated with the turn signal, usually warning if you are changing lanes and there is a vehicle in the 'blind spot', or when there a multiple turn lanes with traffic.
The keyless entry and push-button ignition are fancy. While I have only had to replace one battery in one of the two remotes (about $35), in 4 years, just be sure to keep track of them.. Security system seems to work - scared off someone 2 weeks ago.
Good rear trunk space. Keyless entry system prevents the trunk lid from attempts to 'jimmy' it open
