two years without any problems

smooth ride, feels safe. roomy, esp. the trunk. I am not happy with the in-city mileage, which sometimes drops to 13 mph, much different than the sticker.(My 1997 Mercury Sable got 18 mph in the city) -staff claims the advertised 25 mph in the city is done in a "perfect" computer setting, with no red lights, stop signs, etc. that makes no sense. it should say that on the sticker.

Uncomfortable driver's seat

The 2017 Sonata is an attractive auto and passengers comment on a comfortable ride. As the driver I am so uncomfortable. The driver's seat slants too far down to the back and required me to purchase a wedge seat cushion. Head room is too low for me as I need to be close to reach the gas pedal and the roof slants down. My head brushes the top getting in and out. I feel that it could be dangerous in an accident. The headrests tilt way too forward pushing my head. I have turned my headrest around to solve the problem. After 20 years of driving a Hyundai, they no longer fit me.

My Sonata

This is my third and dare I say, my most favorite Sonata. It is a well made and comfortable car. It is beautiful to look at both inside and out. It is fun to drive. The only thing I wish it had, with all the amenities, is a heated steering wheel.

Best car I have driven. My 2000 Chev Prizm comes in second. The car has everything I need. Good looking hugs the road Best performance and rides excellent. I would recommend this car to everyone to drive and see for yourself to see if you agree.

The Hyundai is a very reliable company with a great warranty plan. I have been highly pleased with its performance. The 2017 Sonata is a comfortable ride both front and back seats. This car has many great features as well.

Sonata is the way!!

Love the car. May purchase another when lease is up. The overall lineup at Hyundai may entice us to move up to a Santa Fe or even the new Palisade. Our extended family now has 5 Hyundais- 3 Santa Fe Sports and 2 Sonatas- when they heard that me and my brother in law moved to Hyundai(they know we know a lot about cars), the family in Florida took a look and ended up with 2 Sports for mom and dad , and a Sonata for their son.

Sonata

Really enjoy this car. The comfort level in both the front and back is great. Getting in is no problem. Some problems with side mirrors but adding small mirror on right side mirror helped a bit. Again just nice sporty looking car.

Great mileage, works great and Looks good. Haven’t had any problems with the motor. Plenty of room inside and in the trunk as well. Everyone in my family wants to borrow it when they go out of town for these reasons.

Excellent Value

Love the turning radius, the performance in traffic as well as options to drive in economy, normal and sport modes. Handles easily and has plenty of leg and head room for some of my taller relatives and friends. I would like to see better headlight options especially when turning in rural dark areas at night. Not enough light projected on the side to ensure a safe turn. Overall, I believe it is a very good value for the money.

Good looking car inside and out.

The exterior appearance of my Sport model is very sharp with the sunroof. The interior has a very comfortable fabric also. Very good gas mileage vs. my previous Camry. I have experienced some surprises like automatic transmission lock-up. I was stopped in traffic and it took me about 5 minutes to think of shutting the engine off and restarting which did free up the transmission. If happened again a few weeks later. A few months after that, when I took my car in for routine service, Corporate Hyundai had a transmission modification package The service people said they could not tell me if my issue was addressed.

My 2017 Sonata

I think the scales below say it all. I am very happy with my 4th Hyundai. I lost my Husband in 2010 being very upset and knowing my decision making skills were not good at that time I reached out to my friends to help me purchase a car (we had a Diesel Dually 350 Ford and it was a monster to drive) that my 83 year old Mom could get into. My first Hyundai was a 2010 Elantra and Hyundai's have been my choice car since then.

Good vehicle

The last 3 cars I have bought new were Hyundai Sonata. I never had a problem with any of them. Also the recall notices on any of them were few. I love the comfortable ride I have in my Sonata. I would highly recommend a Sonata especially if you need a roomy backseat.

Best valued car I have ever had

This is definitely best value to money. In the first 70k miles I haver had any problems at all. The car runs smoothly and well. At 70K the engine blew and the Hyundai people replaced it with no questions asked and no extra cost for me. I even got free ren a car.

I love my Hyundai Sonata!

I'm so comfortable in my Hyundai Sonata. It's a beautiful car, controls very easily (I only have the use of one hand) and is very dependable. I love the sleek look of it and the color. It's Truffle. I also feel very safe in it.

Love this car!

I've had my Sonata for two years and 33,000 miles. The car runs great....in fact as good as the first day I pulled it off the lot. It is very stylish and full of many great features. Hardly a month goes by that a perfect stranger doesn't walk up to me and tell me what a beautiful car it is. I love the mileage (about 31MPG). The ride is quiet and comfortable and there's tons of performance. No service issues other than routine oil changes.

Great car for a competitive price.

My Sonata is a 2017 and has performed flawlessly since our purchase. I will definitely look at another Hyundai in the future since everything is first class. My only suggestion would be to provide a periodic update to the GPS unit at no or very little cost.
