2015 Tucson review
I've had this car for about 6000 miles and am very pleased with it. My wife and I drove to California and back recently on vacation. I was very concerned about how my back would feel but the lumbar support adjustments worked very well. I thought the Tucson was more comfortable than the Toyota Sequoia we owned previously. Being Scottish, I also enjoyed the 32 mpg, even through the Rockies. I was also concerned about how the Tucson would react to crosswinds, being so light. We didn't encounter much but it handled them beautifully. And...less you think everything is perfect, let me talk a bit about the instrument panel. First, the blue light is invisible if one is wearing sunglasses. It would be easy to run out of fuel because one can't see the instruments, even with the lights dialed high. Second, who reads a tachometer nowadays?! Get rid of the damned thing and put in a useful, visible fuel gauge. Finally, the freeways of Los Angeles led to a very choppy ride. I expect that's to be expected due to the shirt wheelbase but it was quite uncomfortable. If I lived there it would be a real problem. Other than that, I'm well pleased and would definitely look at Hyundai again for a new car.
