This crossover is very comfortable. The size and style of the car are just right. The exterior front and back lights could have been designed differently so that illumination at night would be better.

2016 Tuscon

This is the second one we have owned. It is a very good dependable car in all phases. I most likely would buy another Tuscon if I was going to buy another new car. The service department is the best.

2016 Tuscon

Just exceeded 50k miles. The Tuscon still runs and drives like new. Considering majority of driving is rural or interstate, excelaration, braking, steering no remain excellent. Not many vehicles can make a claim such as this. Well designed and engineered with a 32 mpg economy.

2016 Tucson

Have been driving Hyundai since 2000. Tucson is the most disappointing vehicle ever. I wonder if the commitment to quality is still there. Need to get rid of duel clutch transmission. To bad the service personnel at the dealer has to be the ones to deal with the customer for an inferior product that Hyundai has built and continues to do nothing to resolve the issue.

We love the car and it is great on trips.One thing that bothers us is the hesitation when you are at a stop or in a parking lot.This has shown up in several reviews.hopefully they will have a fix for this problem.

worth the money

Styling and overall performance is more than sufficient for the price paid, however, vehicle seems a little under-powered, and extremely rough slippage on changing gears. This happens no matter what driving mode vehicle is in--eco mode is the worst, better in normal driving mode, and best in sport mode. Vehicle does slip when going into gear no matter what the circumstance. Over-all, car is well worth the money, but could definitely be better in performance. Gas mileage is right in line for expectations.

overall good but some issues

After owning a Santa Fe for 12 years there was no doubt that I would buy another Hyundai. Also own a Sonata. Went with Tucson b/c Santa Fe too large and expensive now. Have had repeated issues with the dual clutch transmission. Hyundai replaced it, but still having the same issue. Frustrating. Also the lumbar support went out in the driver seat. They are replacing it. I have no problem with the service, just had NO issues with the Santa Fe and surprised so many issues with the Tucson. Wish the Santa Fe had stayed smaller and less expensive or the Tucson (2016) did not have the transmission issue. Also the gas mileage is not as high as I had hoped it would be, averages about 28 mpg.

2016 Tucson

I am not totally happy with this vehicle after originally having a Santa Fe that was totaled in a severe hailstorm. While it handles well and gas mileage is ok, there are a number or things that are irritating. One is the lurching that I have addressed with mechanics and told it is because of the motor in the Tucson. That also seems to be the reason for rough startups after stopping. Storage under the back mat is not as good as the Santa Fe. It sits lower than the Santa Fe and some other SUVs. I am very short and the seat does not adjust high enough. While the comfort is good, the dip in the seat makes it a little more difficult to get out of the car. The warning initiated when you are signaling changing lanes is much too loud and mechanics are unable to adjust. So far, I have had not had any mechanical problems with the Tucson.

I love my Hyundai Tucson. This is my second. I traded the first one in with 150000 miles on it and it still had plenty to go. My next vehicle will definitely be a Hyundai as well....the only problem I will have is deciding which color.

Love it

Dependable, just the right size for me. handles good in the snow. My 2nd Tucson. Heated seats, rear back just fell in love with all of it. Comfortable , fun to drive, value for the money, great performance.

This is my second Tucson. I love the size and it is perfect for up and down mountains or city travel. Gas mileage is great. Love all the features in my limited edition. Great Hyundai warranty! Wonderful safety features are standard.

Awesome SUV!

Best car we've ever had. Bought it new in 2016 and took it on a long range road trip across the states. Performance was amazing; we traveled through a white out blizzard on the Colorado prairie almost to Colby, KS and later went through some heavy rain in Wyoming. Very smooth ride as well. It's roomy and comfortable. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Excellent

I love my Tucson! It is a great ride for the money. I feel safe driving in snow and bad weather with the 4 wheel drive. I have never had any problems with it’s performance except for an oils change or tire rotation on this crossover SUV.!

Defective Transmission, no recall to fix it

The vehicle is problematic and Hyundai can't seem to fix it (2016 Hyundai Tuscon Limited). The transmission seems defective with no recall in sight to address the issue. The car will buck or tremble when you shift from reverse to drive first thing in the morning (usually happens when warm out). And it will tremble when first starting up and rolling forward in traffic. I've brought my vehicle in now 6 times for the same/similar issue and the issue persists. It seems unsafe to drive and the resale value will most likely be low if it is a known issue to consumers.

Not much to comment. Obviously the car was built with a bad design. Didn't take into consideration the dual clutch with the Turbo. Can't wait to get rid of it. Don't trust it. Too much money for what I got

Nice looking.....Terrible transmission in Sport model!

I owned a Tucson prior to this one and it was terrific! The transmission in this model chugs and misses often. Service department says there is nothing they can do. Questioning whether I will buy a Hyundai again.
