Dependable For the Comey
A dependable vehicle for the money, doesn't come with all the bells and whistles of other brands, but you will wind up paying for those eventually. I wanted a reliable vehicle with the least amount of breakdowns and my service manager said they see this vehicle in the shop less than the Mazda or Ford models. I'm a receipt junkie and I buy my vehicles new, drive them until they die and calculate how much the vehicle cost me over the ownership period. The steering wheel is all vinyl or maybe what they call leather and it's hard for me to hold on to when turning a corner, the Blue Tooth is slow to connect to my phone, I wanted the Blue Link service, but found out after I'd purchased the vehicle it did not come with my model. This is a 4 wheel drive and I really only needed 2 wheel drive, but they said they didn't get very many of those vehicles in, so I'm stuck with a 4 wheel drive. They ride rougher and the gas mileage is not as great over a 2 wheel drive. I stay up on my pre-maintenance on my vehicles including rotation of tires because I believe that's why I get 225K to 250K miles on my vehicles before they die. I'm hoping to make it to 250K or higher with this vehicle since Hyundai claims to take what's wrong with other vehicles and resolve that with their models. I had my dealership change out the cloth seats for leather in a dark gray over the black cloth seats that came with the vehicle. This is my first SUV and it rides more like a pick-up than a car. I have short legs, so getting in and out is not as easy. I do like being up higher where I can see what's going on beyond the cars in front of me.
