I have owned two used Mazda Proteges. When this own dies, I will buy another. This model has been replaced by the Mazda 3. The write ups are good. The price is right. Good styling. Great ride. Inexpensive repairs.

Best Damn Car I Ever Had!!!
17 years old & still going like new. Gets 30 to 40 MPG. Looks as good as new.

one hell of a car
bought it new in June 1999. Gets 40 MPG on long highway driving. between 28 & 32 combination driving. Has only needed regular service. I have 170000 miles of mostly care free driving.

Great little car!
Purchased in 2001, this vehicle has been a "daily driver". Good mileage & a breeze for getting around. Now has almost 109,000 miles and going strong. Pleased with the
reliability, fit & finish. Still looks good.
