Nimble and reliable

I bought the car in 2002. It handles well. Steering is tight in precise. From dry works well on light snow. I had already 56,000 miles on the car but it Has been trouble free. Mazda workmanship is excellent.

Old guy getting a little tired

Our 2000 Mazda Protege, which we bought new, has been a truly wonderful little car for us. But now with 191,000 miles on it we are seeing some signs of tiredness. In both the car and us! It still gets over 30 mpg and, though I drive it very little anymore, my wife is still happy with it. We have kinda felt we need to move on to a newer compact but have not decided on one yet.

2000 Masada Protege

Like the dependability of this car. We purchased the vehicle from Hertz in Houston. Have not had any major problems with it. We have had to change the alternator and starter. Of course the battery. I believe keeping up the maintenance really helped keeping the car up and running. This car is well worth it’s money. It’s a great car.

Eighteen years & Counting

This was my very first "NEW" car and it is serving me well. I haven't had a car payment in fifteen years and because I kept up with the service needed the repairs have been minimal and only due to wear and tear. LOVE MY MAZDA PROTEGE!!!!

2000 Mazada Protege

Car was bought in 2001 and we enjoyed the comfort, the ride and just the fun to drive car we imagined. If it broke down completely today, it wouldn't owe us a dime
