BEST AUTO REPAIR EVER...THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!
State Tire and Automotive is one of the BEST garages with outstanding mechanics. I have a 22 yr. old M.B. SLK and because he is garaged in the winter and not driven, I never realized what damage I was doing. He actually broke down in NY's Holland Tunnel from over-heating. He was in a garage there for 2 weeks and 2 times when I was told the car was ready, I never made it through the Holland Tunnel as it was still over heating. When I finally drove the car to head home, the check engine light came on and now it had to go into another garage. Meanwhile, I was on the phone with Anthony, the manager of State Tire & Automotive in Forked River, NJ a number of times for advice, which he gladly gave. After another week in the 2nd garage, I finally drove the car the rest of the way to State Tire & Auto because I didn't trust the workmanship previously done. I then took the car to State Tire & Auto, spoke with Anthony about have the entire car looked over as I now had a coolant light going on. He had one of his highly experienced mechanics check the car out and run tests. They found that one of the newly installed hoses was not clamped nor was the fluids topped off at either of the previous 2 garages. It took Anthony and his team to resolve the last of the problems and I was floored when I got their bill! Never have I had such a low charge to fix any car since I was in my 20's.. They did an excellent job and they are the only garage I will do business with while in this area which is about 7 months out of the year. KUDOS TO ANTHONY AND HIS TEAM OF EXTRAORDINARY MECHANICS. THANK YOU ALL!!!
