2 Thumbs Up
I bought my 2009 Nissan Frontier as a primary family vehicle. I have a back injury and the higher seat makes it easier to get in and out. The seats provide excellent support. In the 10 years of ownership, I have spent less than $2500 on actual mechanical repairs. To me the key has been regular upkeep such as oil changes, fluid checks, brakes, and tires. Last year the vehicle was in the middle of a 5 car collision. One vehicle slammed into my daughter’s truck from the rear at about 45mph and pushed it into 3 other vehicles in front of her. My daughter and her friend suffered NO injuries. The truck had $4800 in damages. It was easily repaired. I now have 119,000 miles on my ‘09 and it still drives and handles great. I like and trust this vehicle so much I passed it over to my daughter who drove it back and forth to high school and is now taking it to college out of town. As I said, I like the truck very much so I bought myself a new 2017 Frontier SV.
