Basic and reliable

We have had out Nissan Versa SV for over 9 years now. Reliability has been excellent and it has not let us down. All the required maintenance done as specified by the manufacturer. Normal items have been replaced like brake pads, shocks and tires. We use synthetic oil. Car still looks nice and drives well.

Condition of car not accurately represented upon purchase

Car was sold with two tires previously plugged (which were illegal on VA roads). I didn't find out until I needed a stem replacement and upon service inspection, they were noted. The back seat was covered beneath the seat with multiple spilled liquids, candy, game cards, and general trash. All of the carpets had soil stains and it was not cleaned prior to or after purchase. Sold without spare tire. My recommendation is to check over your potential purchase with careful eyes and make note of any concerns to address before finalizing.

Poor quality

Quality is below what should be expected for a new car in todays market. Just small things mostly like fasterners holding the front grill. The climate control adjustment broke and the dealer did not have replacements in stock. The Versa is their lowest priced model and it shows.

Nissan Versa

This car gets me from A to B with no problem. I just don't like the car on the interstate because if it is windy, I feel that the car is moving all over the place. It is a cheap car for someone who is retired and on a fixed income like I am, but I still don't have to like it.

Does what I bought it for

I compared and test drove over 20 similar cars before purchasing this vehicle almost five years ago now. In hindsight I would probably go back and splurge a little by getting the SL instead of the SV or gone with a different brand that was costing slightly more. Until recently the vehicle didn't require much work, but small repairs are starting to add up; doesn't seem as built to last as Nissan cars have been known for. Overall the vehicle does what I bought it for and isn't expensive.

2015 Nissan Versa

It's very sparse. It only has one arm rest in the front and plain Jane interior. I would never buy another one. Drives ok. Has ok acceleration. I do like the body style but the interior is cheap looking.

Nissan Versa

I like my versa. I get more than 38 miles to the gallon, it handles nice and it has sporty looks. It's big enough to fit adults in the back seat comfortably and has plenty of trunk space. It has excellent acceleration and never worry about merging onto the freeway. All in all, it's a great little car!
