A solid and reliable truck!

My Xterra has been a very reliable and solid truck! I have over 123,000 miles on it and it still runs and looks great! Basic maintenance is all that it has needed. I feel safe no matter what the road conditions.

Overall has been a reliable vehicle. Still going strong after 130k miles. Gas mileage averages in the low 20's on the highway. Does an adequate job towing my boat and trailer. The only complaint is an automatic transmission that's too slow to downshift, which is frustrating in heayy traffic. I usually lockout the overdrive or manually downshift it.

A great vehicle

It has been very good to me for almost 8 years. I always get my regular maintenance done in a timely fashion. It has only let me down once in all that time. That was the clutch lockout switch. I have driven it in snow and was great. I have driven it in rain and again it did well. I do like it.

LUV my Xterra.

I absolutely love my Xterra. Perfect size, not to big, not too small. Comfortable ride. Also, simple without that overcrowded "cockpit" look of 100 buttons. Best truck I ever owned. Handles perfectly in mud, snow, and ice.

Best vehicle that I've ever loved to hate

You should read my pros and cons information because I put all of that summary stuff in there. I've Loved this vehicle but when it has a problem it has big problems. it's a little too high tech for its own good because if it gets broken down, you are up the poop Creek unless you are a computer programmer / mechanic. Otherwise, it's a great ride through mud and snow. It's kind of loud on the highway and it's not very comfortable for long trips but for a weekend in the woods, it's made for that kind of stuff! it's just too bad that they quit manufacturing these and then we only have a short time left for the parts to become hard to find, so consider that before you make any big decisions.

Good vehicle

I have been well pleased with my Exterra. It is a good vehicle. The only complaint I have is the front brakes needing to be replaced . I only have 46,000 miles on a 2012 vehicle. Other than that it is very reliable .

Good vehicle

I have had little or no trouble with it since I got it. I did a fair amount of research before I went looking for one.. I keep up the maintenance on it and it has been good to me. I am very serious about keeping up the maintenance on lt.

It is a great vehicle

I have had it for over 5 years . It has given me good service . I like the way it handles and it has good pick up . I take it in for regular service to keep it in good shape. The most expensive item that I have had to do was new tires on it.
