Competent

Strange things always going wrong w this car. Hood cable snapped after 3 yrs. Window washer tank broke and had to be replaced. Little clip that pops open the door for refilling fuel snapped. Inside rearview mirror developed a film underneath glass that kept growing until it had to b replaced. Headlight covers fogged up and wouldn't clear. Tire warning light always stays on. Had to replace timing chain. Thought those things typically last life of the vehicle. Trunk will come crashing down on your head if you not parked on a level surface. Besides the numerous recalls including having to take it in on 3 different occasions for the airbag replacement the finish on the paint has noticeably dulled and started cracking. The things that go on the bottom of the driver and passengers windows that seal it from water getting in the door disintegrated and had to b replaced for all doors. Motor for outside mirror on passenger side died. Radio/stereo had to b replaced after the LED display would disappear and you were unable to change any setting including changing stations, volume, mode or turning it off/on. Few more things, but those are the things that come immediately to mind.

Things always seem to break

Things that are not supposed to break seem to break on this vehicle. Had the hood cable snap, the release to access the gas cap break, required a timing chain overall, the trunk not staying open, the tire sensors going out, on my third factory audio system as the first had the LED display disappear, the second had a heating issue where it would stop working if it was an 80° day and now the controls not working until you cool the dash w AC. Also the paint peeling issue.

I have owned 5 different models of Toyotas & very been satisfied with each model. All models have exceeded 250000 miles with very little major mechanical work. All were still running when I updated.

maintenance free and parts are cheap so middle class family can use it

Worth every penny

I have driven my Corolla has been over 200,000 miles. For thirteen years this car has been comfortable, reliable and still gets and average 30 mpg. First 150,000 miles car only needed regular oil changes and routine maintenance. A $1700 repair in 2019, an alternator in 2021 and a new driver seatbelt buckle 2022. Definitely worth every penny.

Extremely reliable low consumption

Have this car for 10 years 112 miles brought brand new extremely reliable cheap on gas especially on the highway audio system is terrible and cornering.The highest mileage i get highway only is 379 miles with this small tank.Starter is noisy when its cold but nothing to worry about.Overall no problems at all and always start

Love this car!

I bought this car new and other than general maintenance have had a wonderful experience with it. Changed brakes once, regular oil changes, and I do put on snow tires for winter. It stays outside. I am still getting 36 mpg.

Value for money

The 2010 Toyota Corolla LE is a perfect mid size sedan for a nuclear family. The drive is smooth with a good mileage. The interiors are spacious and comfortable with a large trunk space. It has a good pick up and is great for long drives.

Still a very reliable car... no major issues ever!

This car has been great for me all these years. Reliable! No major issues ever and it's got some get up and go. Just the perfect size and comfortable. I don't drive much so low mileage and I plan to drive it for a long time

Reliable

My Toyota Corolla provides a comfortable, reliable ride and gets good gasoline mileage. It's easy to maintain and has needed minimal repairs given that it has been driven over 11.5 years and for over 216,000 miles. I highly recommend the Corolla for purchase.

Great for a 2nd vehicle.

Too small, but reliable. Gas mileage is wonderful. We only have to fill up every couple of weeks and then that is after using 1/4 of a tank of gas. I usually drive my S-10, but I have had to rely on my Toyota. I had to get used to driving a smaller vehicle.

Amazing first car

This is my first vehicle and I will say I would tell anyone to buy this car if they’re looking for reliability. I have never had an issue with this car, and it has never left me stranded other than a flat tire. It’s cheap to fix, great on gas, and just overall a good vehicle that will last forever.

Reliable.

The workaday styling hides an engine that's a little screamer: -- double overhead cam, extra valves. Serviceability, as with all modern vehicles, is terrible. Dashboard and cockpit controls are well thought-out. Engine oil is thin and light, so if you want this car to last, let it warm up before you drive it down the road.

I love it but.i don't like a few things

Toyota did Not seal inside of car bc insulation came thru which is hazardous! 2nd is when u put on windshield wiper just to CLEAN wipers Automatically come on. Toyota needs to stop this!! Toyota should replace my cars pain job GRATIS (FREE OF CHARGE) AS WELL AS pay to seal up insulation that came out in my cars cabin interior! Ugh

Reliable

Nothing fancy but gets the job done. Satisfied with it for being a 10 year old car. Seems that over 200k mi., the balance becomes more unaligned the faster I drive(interstates and highways) but it's nothing too dangerous.
