Let me say I did check into ASG before I took my car in. They are very nice. I called and made an appointment for Friday to bring my car in for a new convertible top and oil change. Reggie was very helpful. He ask me the year make and model to order the new top and I ask him if he needed the vin, he said no. On Thursday we dropped the car off and Reggie said he would have it done by end of day Friday. 4pm on Friday I called because I hadn’t heard from anyone. Reggie apologized ( by the way there was a lot of apologizing) he wasn’t able to get to it. There was a problem with a Range Rover and they would have it finished on Monday. Again I had to call because no one called me. Talked with another person and they said Reggie would call me before he left and he didn’t not. So Tuesday I called him and he said they were getting done now. Tuesday afternoon I get a call and said they order the wrong top and the right top would be a 1000.00 more plus the head liner would be another 300 bucks. I was over it. I went and picked the car up and I’ll have to take it somewhere else. Oh I did leave a message for the owner and never heard back from him. On a up note they didn’t charge me for the oil change. Lol.

This shop will take you for a ride and lie to you the whole way.
This shop gave me a reminder why I fix everything myself.
Not only did they lie to me at least 4 times, they also tried to take advantage of me every step of the way.
I originally brought the car to them wanting rod bearings and an oil pump. I did my own diagnosis on the very low oil pressure and hired them to replace these parts. After the car sat in their lot for a week, (I understand other cars were first in line) they did their own "diagnosis" without asking me first. They called me about this "Free" (Lie #1) $120 diagnosis after it happened. This is when they tried to sell me everything under the sun except what I asked for. Brake lines, brake pads, wipers, a battery, idler arm and tie rods, suspension bushings, lights, etc. They were hired to complete a specific task, and they slap me in the face with this nonsense.
After this I reminded them I was there for rod bearings and an oil pump.
After a few days they called me saying that they pulled the valve covers (Lie #2) and were going to adjust the non-adjustable valves. The valve covers never came off, the leaves on top and undisturbed sludge around the screws tell the true story.
I once again told them i was there for an oil pump, and reminded them about the low oil pressure. They absolutely would not let me talk directly to the mechanic. I was then told they were going to check oil pressure, which I already did myself two weeks before. After they checked the oil pressure they confirmed it was low, tried to sell me exhaust and completely ignored the task I hired them for. I then asked them how much the idler arm and tie rods would cost (over $1000.) Tie rods cost $25 or less each, and the idler arm around $40. I already knew that price was insane, so I asked about the exhaust. ($70.) I told them to go ahead and do the exhaust, and gave up on the oil pump + bearings. "Okay we'll have that done by tomorrow." Tomorrow comes, no call. Day after, no call. I call them the day after that, and asked if the work was started. (If not, I was going to go pick the dang* thing up.) I was assured that it was in the garage and started. (Lie #3.) After I got off of work, I drive by and guess what's sitting in the parking lot untouched? Furious, I decided i'm going to pick it up Monday morning as soon as they open.
Monday morning comes, and it's still sitting in the parking lot unlocked with the hood open like it has been for 2 weeks. They get caught with their pants around their ankles when I show up and couldn't find the keys. I was then told that the exhaust repair was completed, (Lie #4) and I paid $120 for the "free" diagnosis I didn't ask for. They pull my car around, and I crawl underneath to inspect. Surprise, surprise! No repair was done, all the exhaust is untouched and I can see it puffing out where they were supposed to do the repair. I also notice that the car I brought to them with a full tank of gas is now only half full.
Great job guys! Thanks for wasting weeks of my time and charging me for accomplishing nothing. I pretty much paid $140 for a 3 week parking space. By far the worst experience i've ever had with an auto repair shop.

No time for customers (first impression not good)
I called ASG this morning spoke with Reggie, I have a problem with my 2003 mini cooper needs a clutch. When ask about approx cost to replace the clutch, I was told can't give you a price until you bring it in. Again I ask if he could just give me a ballpark of the cost. No bring so he could not give me any idea of cost . Beware of them it says on the web site that they repair minis with a certified tech but can't give you any idea of cost . I will not be using this shop first impressions a lasting one.

Horrible Service
Highly disappointed with ASG Automotive. This used to be a reputable company, I don't know if they changed management or not but the people I've just dealt with are nothing short of dishonest, untrustworthy, crooked, scams. I went in for a simple oil change (which was already paid for) on my Mercedes and had a problem with some noises when I hit the breaks. I was told my biggest problem was the right inner/outer bearings. This was just fixed at another shop in November. I told them that since it was under warranty I'd take it back to that shop. They proceeded to tell me they needed to fix another serious problem before I took it to that shop (tie rod)for $600 and they would apply a $50 coupon. I naively agreed, then took the car to the other shop afterwards. I called ASG to let them know I was there and would be back to pay them once my car was done. The other shop told me nothing was wrong with my bearings and showed me it was the back rotors instead. So when I came back to ASG to let them know about the bearings, they said "THEY FORGOT" to tell me that "THEY FIXED" the bearing issue "FOR FREE". Then to my horror, and to add insult to injury, instead of having to pay $550 they proceeded to charge me $698 and said that they quoted me a price minus taxes and fees and that the new price included the $50 coupon. Bull..they've always quoted me the total price and I've been going there for many years, twice a year for oil changes and repairs. Now I feel they so-called fixed something that there probably wasn't anything wrong with in the first place, since the problem is STILL there. Then they had the nerve to over inflate the cost once they realized the other shop would point out their flaw. I had to call the other shop to apologize for thinking they were the negligent, fraudulent ones. ASG just lost a loyal customer. I will never set foot in that crooked place again. Save your time and money, and ALWAYS get a second opinion prior to letting someone fix your car. Pricey lesson learned!!!!!

Quick and easy
Dropped my car off on the way out of town on Friday and picked it up on Sunday. I worked with two service managers. Both knew who I was, what was wrong with the car and explained how and why it was being repaired. No surprises, no confusion. It's nice to trust a repair shop again! Thanks guys!

It works greatly so far. Will call U again If the leak has not been fixed. The new fuel pump & starter are working fine! It needed a new pump for years but did not wont to spend that much money. It would start on the 2nd try each day. Only needed to do that the first time of the day. Anyways, its done, Thanks & have a nice holiday, (I hope I'm not planning on Cing U again this yr.)
