I took my 2013 GMC Sierra to my local dealer in Missoula MT because I had an engine Code and a bad miss fire. They told me I needed new catalytic converters, but I had already replaced the cats. After hours of labor and many dollars later, I still had the miss fire and they told me the only way I could solve it was with new catalytic converters. I did research online, and reputable GM guys told me it was not the converters.
So I took my truck to the Auto Clinic, and Brian had it figured out in about an hour. I dove my truck home, and the miss and engine codes were both gone. This is the first time since I have had this truck that I could drive without the miss and engine codes. This shop gets a 100% 5 Star ring for me. I will use them in the future, and never consider going to the dealer.
Thanks Brian, you made my day.

Literally best shop I've ever worked with
I spent roughly 2.5 weeks dealing with this shop and it sure was frustrating. But I walked away a happy customer, planning on returning when I need more work and recommending them to friends and family.
The story: One day, my car wouldn't start. I had the battery, alternator and starter checked and all worked fine. So I'm thinking it's the fuel pump. I call around to get quotes and these guys were the cheapest and actually the closest to me, very ideal. So I bring my car in and they spend a couple days testing it, realizing it's not the fuel pump. I drive a Nissan Xterra, not the most straightforward of builds that can be difficult to diagnose/repair. Anyway, they diagnosed it as needing a new Relay Fuse Box. Installed, returned to me and again, could not get my car started. Back to the shop, another week or so of diagnosing - thinking it's a wire somewhere not grounding - and finally... an answer. The ECM needs replaced - any time it gets cold, the car won't start, but warm it up with a hair dryer and BAM, starts right up. They were able to find a used one for $100 vs. $900 for a new one. Risky but could save a ton of money. Spent a couple more days trying to reprogram the used ECM with no luck and even brought it to another shop over the weekend to see if they could do the reprogramming, still nothing.
At this point, I had already made an appointment with the Nissan dealership, thinking it needed an expert at this point and appointments were a week out anyway. Conclusion... took this used ECM to the dealership and they had it installed and reprogrammed within 2 hours.
So this shop charged me the $470 for the initial Relay Fuse Box part and labor, spent another 2ish weeks diagnosing and getting me the affordable ECM deal, giving me the ECM to take to the dealership and even refunding me half of what the dealership charged to finish this whole process ($240 dealership cost is $120 as half refunded).
This was the nicest, most honest shop I've ever dealt with in 14 years of driving (I'm only 29) and did their very best with this whole headache of a car repair. They even gave me rides to work and home a couple times! I can't even tell you how many hours they spent on my car in total, way too many that I was never even charged for.
Highly, highly recommended. You won't find better people to work on your car!
