Pursuing legal remedies for fraudulent charges
DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!! My claim is that they committed fraud against me and could likely do the same to you. This is what happened:
I was in an accident and had my car towed to this lot. Car was declared a total loss by the insurance company, and zero work was done on the vehicle. The repair shop then sent me a bill for $4,850.00.
The charges were for:
$3,600 for storage - Texas statute, section 85.703 states that a repair shop must send notification of any fees that will be charged BEFORE they can charge any such fees. When I asked the shop for proof of notification, I was told there was no proof. Notification had not occurred, yet they are still trying to charge me thousands of dollars
$550 for towing - This charge is actually FRAUD - AAA towed my car to the lot and AAA also covered the cost of that tow, so I don’t know where this $550 came from. When I requested a receipt for the cost of the tow, they told me they did not have any receipt. Plus, their website says “free towing with any service”. They charged me for the service of a “tear down”, so even if they DID have to tow the car (they didn’t, AAA towed it), it should have been free of charge according to their own website.
$250 for an admin fee,
$450 for a tear down.

I sent them a letter by certified mail in the attempt to resolve this issue, and no one from the business has contacted me. My next steps are to file complaints with BBB, the Texas attorney general, the licensing commission and the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles. It is probably in your best interest to find another car repair shop.
After all of this, I just discovered this shop has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. They have also failed to respond to complaints filed by others in the past.

What you want in a car repair place
HONEST! Fair prices and friendly staff. They gave me a spot on estimate and called to talk to me about an issue they found before they moved forward.
I won’t take my car anywhere else.

Fuel Pump - Confidence/Courteous
Let me start by saying Ali is very pleasant and a perfect interface person. I mess with cars a bit and told Ali I had an electrical problem, they analyzed and related it was the fuel pump, I was very skeptical and he stated he has confidence in his mechanic and guaranteed the fix. Wow unheard of. I told him Id get my motor mounts done with him if correct, I already had someone that was going to do cheaper, but man after that service and confidence I’d be crazy to go with someone else!! Im a stickler about good experience and I was pleasantly surprised. Thank you so much Ali and staff!!

These guys are great!
Our family has 5 cars in total, and I take them all to Car Zone. The work has always been completed on time and professionally. The owner has worked with me to make payments on repairs when money was tight. They really care about their customers, and it shows. I won't take my cars anywhere else.
