Tire repair
I had a tire fixed at Day's today. I had the tire off the truck and dropped it off. One little plug and patch that took about ten minutes to do cost $51.00. REALLY. The wife had about the same issue about six months ago and the tire shop took it off her vehicle, plugged and patched and put the tire back on for $20.00. They always say to support your local businesses. REALLY for double the price. NO THANKS.

My dad first recommended I take my car to Day’s. I’ve been taking my unicorn there for years apart from a few times traveling when I needed a battery or something. They are always helpful and honest. Plus - they must do amazing work because my car keeps running.

Day's is an honorable company.
I will admit that I had a bad experience. BUT Day's stood behind their work and I am now more than satisfied. My only suggestion is that one make sure that all work including pricing is spelled out clearly prior to Day's proceeding with the work.
Jason made sure that I was satisfied.
The next time my SnoWay plow needs work, I will not hesitate to return to Day's.
Day's has proven to be an honorable company!

I got conned!
I purchased my Sno Way plow from Day's about 8 years ago.
Last year my left high beam bulb went our.
I talked to the service guy on the phone and he told me how to replace the headlight myself. To get into the headlight one needs the correct tools or the hands of a small child.
I called back and scheduled an appointment for 1PM Friday, January 26, 2024. I arrived at 12:14 PM and gave my cell phone number to the girl at the counter and advised her to call me if there was any problem. I also said that I had a parking light out on the truck itself and, at 79 years of age, it is easier to have them replace it and the headlight at the same time.
I had a friend pick me up and we went out to lunch. While I was away from their shop my wife received a phone call at our home telling her that the truck was done.
It was now about 3:00 PM and we had gone to my friend's house to review the model trains we were going to take to our upcoming model train show in Rice Lake.
We arrived at Day's about 4:15 PM and they gave me the bill........$575.80!!!!
I received no phone call that they replaced both wiring harnesses on the plow since they only come in pairs and they never told me that their labor rate was $140.00 per hour.
I paid the bill with a credit card for which they charged me $16.74 to use. Having only $220.00 on me I had no choice but to use a credit card. Would you expect a headlight and parking light to cost more than $200.00?
I did not make a fuss because my friend (who is a resident of Bloomer) was with me.
The kicker is that when we went out to the truck the parking light on the truck was not working!
The mechanic came out and told me that was not their fault and that the wiring has a problem. Well, guess what, Day's installed the original wiring to the plow and all I ever do is hook up the plow and unhook the plow. Each year I also put the dielectric grease on the plugs as Days told me to do when I bought the plow.
I am very dissatisfied especially since I looked up the Wisconsin statute which clearly states that "Before a shop starts any repairs whose total price may exceed $50.00, a shop representative shall record the repair authorization on a written repair order under s.ATCP 132.03".
I am hoping that Day's is an honorable company and this can be resolved amicably, but, at this moment I am very leery.

Trustworthy and honest
We’ve had all of our vehicles serviced at Day’s for years. This time we anticipated getting all the brakes done for our kids car. But they told us only the front brakes needed to be done which saved us money. We trust that they are looking out for us and only repair what needs to get done.

DAY'S TIRE AND AUTO IS AWESOME!!!!!
We HIGHLY recommend Day's Tire and Auto! I needed to get my tire repaired, and we are relatively new to the area. So my husband looked online and found Day's Tire and Auto! They had SO many WONDERFUL reviews and SO many kind words about sweet Angie that works there, we had to go there! The reviews were right! I pulled up and Angie was SO SWEET to kindly come out and help me bring in my tire! They got my tire fixed technically even before my appt was scheduled!!! and their prices are very reasonable!!! We were so happy with the great care and customer service, we booked another appt - my husband's tire needed help with a valve. When we need new tired for both our vehicles, we will definitely be coming back here!! They are so nice, great customer service and excellent prices! Thanks Day's Tire and Auto for keeping us safe on the road and for your outstanding customer service!! We will definitely be back!

Cost of putting plow on new truck.
I pay the bills as my husband is a quad. He brought home a bill with $800 labor charge. He was only there 4 1/2 hrs. max. That would be almost $200 an hour. I can't believe you charge that much. Please explain.

quality care
We set up an appointment for a simple oil change and were cared for as if we were spending hundreds. Angie at the front desk was all about quality customer care, and her knowledge and smiles were appreciated. They have a thorough check list included in every oil change and caught several issues that needed to be attended to. We vacation here every summer and get an oil change before returning to Montana. We'll be back next year.

Awesome service!
My husband works in Chippewa Falls. He needed new tires for our Avalanche. It has 335,000 miles on. He has been dealing with another dealership in Bloomer has been unhappy service as of late. He decided to try Day's. He was so pleased with their customer service. They gave him a loaner car and when the truck was done, they drove to his place of business and trade vehicles. The service was beyond great!! Please they cleaned out the truck! Thank you so much for being a top notch small business. We will be coming back for further service of the vehicle.
They were able to get my vehicle in a couple days earlier then my scheduled appointment. And was able to get the vehicle done in a timely matter, plus friendly personal.
