Overall very good. I like your service advisors; they are professional and caring.
All was well this time. The concern was I told the first guy I saw when he came to take the car to make sure he locks my car doors but when I picked up the car its doors were not locked! The first person reassured me that he would lock the car doors but that didn’t happen all the way through! That’s not good! Also, when I picked up the car I noticed the tires showed 37 to 39 psi ratings on pressure but the tag inside the car door says 35 or 36 psis! This too is a concern! Other than these two points, everything else was just fine.

Polite service but, incorrect charge by loaner company with no follow-up by service director.
Service was done with courtesy but, the loaner that had been provided to me compliments of Fitzgerald, generated a charge against my credit card. I reported this to the Service Director, but got no response.

Lack of communication
I was not completely happy with my recent service visit, mostly because the communication was not good. I was told by my service advisor that what I needed would require the car to be there overnight, but it ended up being two nights, and that was not made clear to me. I was happy with the outcome, but the lack of communication about the timeline and cost was frustrating. I had trouble getting back in touch with my service advisor so I was left waiting with no idea when I would hear or when my car would be done.

I came to Fitzgerald Hyundai of Rockville because I was frustrated with the service I was receiving at a different Hyundai dealership in the area. I have previously been very happy with my experiences with Fitzgerald, but I will be reconsidering where I take my care in the future if I have issues with the communication during my next service visit.

UNACCEPTABLE
On 3/18 I had an 8:00 AM appointment for an oil change. I was told that it would be about 2 hours, and let the gentleman know that I would be in the waiting area while the work was performed. Sadly, I did not leave until 1:00 PM. I received a text from Caesar Cayun Jr. at 8:12 AM indicating that I may receive a video shortly (which included contact information) and that was the last contact that I received. Nobody came to the waiting area, called, or texted the entire 4.5 hours I spent waiting onsite for an oil change to be completed. I got tired of waiting and called Mr. Cayun at 12:27 PM. I guess he was at lunch because I received no response. I called the service line and a gentleman went to investigate and then said that my car was ready. Ironically, at that time, I received a text that my car was ready. I went to pay and nobody was there. However, on the desk (unattended) were the paperwork and car keys of about 10+ customers. I spotted my keys and a woman behind me said she would help me check out. I asked her did they find anything with the car. She read the paperwork and said no. I waited another 15 -minutes for them to bring my car around. I looked at the receipt and it read that they did a check for other things and discussed it with the customer. I am the customer and nobody discussed any findings with me. So that was a lie. I've been coming to this location for over 10 years (I miss Rishi). During my tenure, I have had videos of mechanics showing that checked and/or service people coming to the waiting area to tell you that they checked xyz and everything looks good, etc. So, I know that this is the norm. However, this is the second time that this same experience has occurred and (unlike last time) this time nobody bothered to apologize or provide an explanation. Having to wait 5 hours for an oil change with an 8 AM appointment is unacceptable.
