Kia soul with a new engine from dealer and old drive belt not replace
Very simple took my 2018 kia soul because the cars knocking sensor activated which ment the engine was done. Kia Replaced my engine at no cost. Now this my second car that had the same issue, previously I had a Kia optima 2012 the fix the car complete no issue took about a month. This time around after I picked up my car which was about 2 weeks after leaving the dealership the drive belt began to screech why would my drive belt screech with a new engine.

I drive about three days later to the dealer I speak to Finn which was my service agent come to find out that day that the use the old drive bel on the new engine which absolutely makes no sense when it would be stretch out why would you put it back on the engine thats new it will never work being stretched out and make noise

They would not replace it after I spoke to the Assistant manager carlo he Adv I would have to change it which again makes no sense new engine a new drive belt should of been put in from day one from the lifetime warranty the engine has. Avoid Green way kia or any Kia car at all cost service center was no help at all I just change the drive belt my self and going to try to get a refund thru Kia its self.

THIS IS MY LAST CAR THAT I WILL EVER BUY THATS KIA BRANDED AFTER GETTING BURN A SECOND TIME AND THE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPT.

Never Again
After a divorce my credit was less than favorable. They kept telling me that I should get the new K5. I them that it waswhat I looked at originally. However, I simply wanted a nice car to help build my credit. They ran my credit and said that the bank said I needed a cosigner. I asked what score did the see. He said he didn't know. So, I asked which car did you try getting financing for...oh the K5. SMH..then he proceeded to tell me that the bank wants around 40% down. I laughed and said it's okay to say that you don't want to sell me a car. I went to another dealership I was in and out in less than three hours after looking around and signing papers for a car that was literally 3k less that the car they wanted me to have. I put down pennies compared to what they said. Unbelievable. Never ever will any Kia dealership get my business. Always Toyota or Honda.

Terrible Terrible Terrible
I started hearing a strange noise coming from my steering wheel in my 2023 Sorento, but as I had never heard anything like it, I waited a few months until my father came to visit me and I showed him the noise. He thought it was strange and told me to complain to the dealership.
Note: This noise only happened a few times. There were times that I would turn on my car and nothing happened, everything perfect. And then other times that I would turn my car on and this squeeky noise would appear.

One day I went for an oil change and told them, I showed them a video I had recorded, I spent more than 3 hours there waiting until the mechanic came and said that I would need to come back another day, leave the car there all day so they could remove the panel.

I went back there after a week, left the car in the morning, spent it on Uber to go to college, when I went to pick up the car at 6pm, I spent it on Uber again to go to Kia, they told me that I would need to take the car there another day so they could remove the panel, again, as they hadn't found the noise.

Going there again for another week, I left the car in the morning, I spent it on Uber until college. They called me saying they were going to charge me for the hours the mechanic spent removing my dashboard if they found something inside the dashboard that wasn't a factory error (detail: it hadn't even been two years since I bought the car, it was still under warranty) and there was no point in talking to them, they wouldn't listen to me.
So I called the guy who sold me my car who didn't even work at Kia anymore, I told him everything and he got in touch with Josh, and it was then, and only then, that they “took me seriously”.

When it was 5:30pm (they close at 6pm) I called to make sure my car would be ready. The girl couldn't tell me because she claimed she hadn't been able to speak to anyone from Services, but that it would probably be ready so I could go and get it. I went there, spent money on Uber, got there, I wasn't ready.
They asked to leave the car overnight as they "needed to investigate further". I spent it on Uber to my house. I even got the personal number of one of the guys who helped me and sent him the video I filmed of the noise of my car to them, so they wouldn’t say there wasn't any noise. He thanked me and said that they found the cause of the noise thanks to my video.

The next day I paid for Uber to pick it up. They thought they found the problem. But I would have to take the car there another day so they could remove the panel again and replace the part that was "going bad", their words, not mine. They wouldn’t even explain for me what happened, they just stated that the motor from the steering weel was going bad.

Note: I researched this noise and it wasn't just me who suffered from it. I found several posts on reddit from people talking about this same noise and how Kia didn't pay attention to them. I showed and sent the links to Matt, but he simply tells me "I'm going on a cruise, send a message to another advisor"

Beware their "136 point inspection" pitch
Recently bought a 2016 Buick Enclave from this dealer. Salesman told me twice during our several hours together that all used vehicles at Kia undergo "a136-point inspection." He said "If anything shows up, we take care of it, so you know you're getting a quality car from Kia."
Ok. I believed him. I mean it's Kia, after all. And everything was working like it should when I test drive the car-- the ready, navigation, all the switches, the air, and the engine was throwing no codes. Great, right?
As I drove home, the air started warming up. By the time I got home the air conditioner was blowing hot air. I assumed it needed a recharge. Took it to Edgewater Auto repair shop and was told the compressor was fine, but the evaporator needed to be replaced. The price to fix: $2,495.
What "136-point inspection" would not have caught this?
Called my salesman. Told him that the inspection he was so eager to tell me about to push me to buy failed to result in a fixed a/c. Asked him to have the Kia service department fix the issue. He told me the vehicle was "sold as is," which I interpreted as "you were a fool for listening to me."
So much for integrity.
Beware the "136-point inspection" spin. As soon as you hear it, run.

Stay far far away
They have no integrity at all. Bought a used vehicle and in the first rain storm the windshield was leaking, they will not assist in the repair cost. They stated the car went through a 116-point inspection, but windshields aren’t part of that inspection process. Trade in the vehicle was the suggestion they made. Another words pass the problem on to our next customer

Complete bait and switch. Don't go here.
Greenway Kia East not only provided me a terrible experience, but my opinion is that they honestly don't care about their customers and that's based off my interaction.

I went online to KBB to get my car's value. It had the KBB guaranteed price option so I selected that. Greenway Kia East came up as a dealership that would guaranteed offer me a certain amount for my vehicle. I had gone to Massey Cadillac first because they answered the phone when I called. KBB guaranteed me $31,500 for my car.

While at Massey, I get a phone call from a saleswoman named Ilcia. I tell her I'm at the other dealership getting it inspected. She then says to let her know when I'm done. We begin texting and I asked if sending pictures would help and she said yes. I took a number of photos of my car and sent it to her. I informed her the other dealership offered me $32,000 for my car. She sends me a text saying "We want it, will give you top dollar for it. Bring in the offer from the other dealership. We can beat it". So I left Massey and drove straight to Kia East.

I get to Kia East and they take my information and car keys. After about 20 minutes they come back and say sorry, we can only offer you $30,000 for your car. I said hold on, I have a guaranteed offer from KBB which states your dealership will buy it, and I have a text saying you'll beat it. I'm then brought over to the manager Jay.

Jay tells me that Ilcia doesn't know sales and that she's "just an internet sales person", and that "her job is to just try and get as many customers in the door as possible". He can't offer me more than $30,000, that's what the market says it's worth, and it's not worth more. I said KBB offered me $31,500, Kia East as the dealership guaranteed to buy it, and I have a text saying you'll beat it. He told me "it doesn't matter" and that Kia East "isn't KBB".

Unreal dealership that, based off my experience, doesn't care about wasting customer's time. They want to just get as many people in the door as possible, as their manager Jay stated, and see what money they can get. No customer service skills, no apology, no nothing.

Based off my opinion, stay as far away as you can. They don't honor their word and apparently will say whatever they need to say to get you in the door, even if it's not the truth.

Not impressed with Kia East Service Center
I had purchased my Kia at Kia East, but I have NOT been impressed with Kia's Service Center. I find their reps like to argue, talk down to you and are rather demeaning to women and the elderly. It appears as if they aren't interested in customer service issues after they purchase their vehicle, just cutting their costs. I have used Greenway Ford's Service Center for a different vehicle. What a difference and their owned by the same company. I still believe that the service center is a reflection of the company's attitude towards their customer. I don't recommend them.

I cannot suggest this dealership
I bought a 3.6, 2014 Ram 1500 Outdoorsman from Kia Greenway East in July of 2021. Overall, six months later, I am satisfied with the trucks performance (no issues at all, knock on wood), but I am incredibly dissatisfied with Greenway Kia East’s performance.

I dealt with Pedro as my salesman. He was very professional, patient, and thorough when it came to selling the truck and answering all of my questions. My mother even asked to tag along and she came with me. Of course she gave Pedro a hard time, but he was very patient with her as well. I thank Pedro and applaud his professionalism, patience, and attentiveness to us (his customers) while the sale was being conducted, and I can tell that he treats all of his customers the same way. He does indeed, deserve that recognition.

Kevin, the sales manager, is who I finalized my papers and documents with. He treated me the same as Pedro and I felt that, while I was there, he was a great example of the 4.2+ star rating that the company had. He was very transparent, honest, and helpful in making sure that I found the best rate and lender. I really felt like I was in a good place with good people while I dealt with these two gentlemen. If I remember correctly, I was with Pedro and Kevin for a few hours, ultimately. The store had closed (they stayed late in an attempt to make the sale), and all but one lender had responded with an offer to me, so we decided that I would come back the following day to allow time for the offer to come through.

The following day, I looked over my offers, and I signed for one. If any of you are looking at their pricing online (and are attempting to get financed by CapitalOne like I intended to), be aware that the prices displayed online are not what they will offer you at Greenway Kia East. They are inflated once you get there (some literally 7+ thousand above the advertised price online and some above the Kelly Bluebook value). I chose my truck because it is a discontinued model that has all of the upgrades that I wanted to perform on my future truck anyways, so the specific increase on my truck was worth it to me. When I left with the truck, I had been made promises and contractual deals that the company was supposed to honor. This is where my issues with Greenway Kia East arise and where they have failed to honor their promises and verbally agreed upon (and what were supposed to be) contractual deals.

1. The truck had not been detailed or cleaned in the least by the time I bought it because they hadn’t had time to get to it yet. It was parked on the sales lot (or was at least on a lot that you could view the truck). I saw another review on here that complained that it looked like the lot had cars that were not yet cleaned; this was true when I was there. I was promised by Pedro that he would get the truck detailed for me, but I would have to return with the truck. It had dog hair, dirt, sand, and dust everywhere. It had very, very dirty upholstery on the seats that needed to be treated and shampooed. He promised me that he would have the truck detailed and to just call/text him and set up a time in the near future.

2. The truck sounded and felt like it had an off-balance tire. Pedro promised to have this looked at and fixed when I brought the truck in for the detail.

For whatever reason, Pedro told me to keep these two promises between he and I. I am a project manager for a construction company and I explained that I would let him know when I have time to come by so that we could agree on a time to drop the truck off. One month after getting the truck, I texted Pedro to set up a time to come in. I did not get a response from him. Having a separate company vehicle and staying very busy, I hadn’t even put 100 miles on this truck yet and it was in the same condition as when I picked it up. I texted Pedro again two weeks (or so) later (still having not have added even 100 miles to it), asking if I could bring it in, and I was given a simple “yes” as a reply. I called to clarify and verify a time and date. I did not get an answer and I have not heard back from Pedro. I had to pay to have the tire serviced and I have had to (deeply) detail the truck myself. The best part? When I lifted the back seats (2014 Ram seats fold up, not down), roach droppings were everywhere underneath them. Cleaning and sanitizing every inch of that area was a blast, let me tell you.

3. As previously explained, I came back to Greenway Kia East one day to view all of my finance offers. I had one offer still pending the evening before so we all agreed that it was best if I returned the following day in order to give it time to process. When I returned, Kevin explained all of my offers for me to weigh out. One of them had a price increase from the previous and most expensive offer that was $3,000.00 more, but it came with (most notably) GAP insurance and two years of oil changes.

The GAP insurance stuck, which is great! But you know what didn’t? That’s right, the two years of oil changes. Kevin looked straight at me and told me that I had this, and when it came time recently to bring the truck in for an oil change, it turns out that it isn’t in fact a part of my contract. I later called Kevin and asked him what was going on, and he told me that he would look into it and call me back. He has not called me back. So now I’m changing my oil and oil filter myself when they’re due, at roughly $70.00 each and every time. And if I want to pay someone to do it, it’s roughly $120.00.

I intentionally waited to write a review for Greenway Kia East, Kevin, and Pedro because I wanted to make sure that they followed through with their promises before I praised them. This is a key area where a companies integrity truly resides - their follow through. Especially when it comes to car sales. As you can see, they were great when it came to selling me the truck; spotlights were all on me and I mattered to them during that time. But after? I don’t matter at all, and it’s obvious. They got their commission and completed their missions of selling the truck for as much as they could. And in the end they just ended up making themselves happy, while I’m the one left reeling.

As a project manager that has multiple promises to fulfill every day, I suggest that Pedro learn to follow through with his promises to his customers on his own accord, instead of leaving them wondering and waiting. And if you can’t fulfill the promise and/or aren’t willing to make the effort to ensure it happens, don’t make it. I suggest that Kevin be more honest or learn to be more attentive to his paperwork in an effort to keep important promises (like two years of oil changes) from falling through. I mean, really. What good are your guys’ promises if you don’t honor them? Either you’re intentionally being misleading or you’re behaving in a manner that is unprofessional enough to the point that its allowing these mistakes to happen - which ultimately, neither are better than the other. Last, I suggest that Greenway Kia East resolve these unacceptable practices that are happening here. I mean, at least vacuum the vehicles before you put them on display or sell the thing! Come on!

For those of you reading this, my suggestion is not to do business here, but I won’t definitively tell you not to buy from Greenway Kia East. I will just tell you, do not leave there unless your vehicle is cleaned and check your paperwork for each and every deal/promise that they make to you before you sign anything. As you can see, they’ll take advantage of you if you allow them the opportunity to, whether it’s intentional or not. My rating is a reflection of my entire experience here. It goes without saying that I’ll never do business here again. They can’t fix this at this point and even if they offered, I’ve already addressed the problems because I simply don’t trust them or their false promises anymore anyways (let alone the fact that this overall experience makes me question how good their technicians might be, too). And if they did offer, the sad part is it’s only because I posted this review. Not because Kevin and Pedro are following through like they promised and should be doing.

Good luck with your car shopping everyone and look out for yourselves, because judging by my experience, this place won’t do it for you in the long run.

Caught on Camera
Had my 2017 Kia Sedona towed in because it was overheating and had issues with ac controller and power sliding doors. After 2 months my car is still not completely repaired. Today I had the car towed out because I wasn’t waiting anymore. They may not have been fixing my car for 2 month but they were doing something… my hardwired dual facing camera was found unplugged and all video of them with my vehicle for the full 2 months has been deleted from the SIM card. I went immediately to the dealership to discuss how this was going to be resolved but instead I was told no one was available to help me with the matter and to come back the next day. When I advised I had called the sheriff in order to file a police report I was asked to leave because they were closing and needed to lock up the doors… scared to even allow myself to imagine what was done to my car, done in my car and or what they did with the video footage that was on the SIM card of myself and my kids driving in the vehicle for the time prior to coming to the dealership. Exact same thing as breaking into my house and then deleting yourself from my security cameras. Shame on the Shady employees of this dealership.

Poor response to a valid concern.
I ask very disappointed in the handling of my trade.
My previous lender called to tell me What have not paid me payment on the car that dealer has as a trade.
I asked to speak to a manager; I was given my salesperson, Liz.
She told me it happens all the time. It won’t effect my credit.
It happened to her! My response was, it doesn’t happen to me.
I feel this is bad business and deceitful.
I am pleased with my vehicle but do not recommend this dealership.
I did get angry with her response and expected to talk to a manager.
