horrible experience
I strongly believe that there should be an option to not give this place of business any stars. I had my car towed (2017 Chevy Equinox) there with a check engine light indicator on and the car would not drive on 10/27/23. I was contacted on 10/30/2023 by Harrell Automotive stating that I needed new tires, rear brakes, and rear brake rotors and that the repairs would be approximately $2,000. I reminded them that my car was towed due to a check engine light, and they proceed to tell me that they needed to do a more extensive test (drop down leakage) which would cost me almost an additional $300 and that it would take 2-3 hours. I agreed and they continued to ask if I wanted the other work down which I refused due to the most important issue at hand being the non-running car and engine light. At the end of the day on 11/1/2023 I still had not heard anything from Harrell Automotive and called for an update which was not immediately available and was told they would need to call me back. Approximately 5 minutes later I received a returned call stating that I needed a new engine which would be approximately $9,000. When I refused the repair, I also informed Harrell Automotive that I would be getting my car towed from their establishment on 11/2/2023 which I did. On 11/6/2023, I lifted the hood of my car for the first time and was shocked to see that nothing removed while doing the more extensive test was put back in place. When informing Harrel Automotive of this shocking discovery they originally asked if I could have the car towed back to them which I told them absolutely not. Then they stated that they would bring a technician to put things back in place, the process took less than 3 minutes which is concerning that either they didn't perform the more extensive test or that all the parts were not put back to its original state. Due to the uncertainty I decided to trade in the car and upgrade. This place is unacceptable and please beware of their service. I have photos I wish I could've added.

AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE/VERY PROFESSIONAL/CLEAN NICE ENVIRONMENT
First off loved the place itself, very nice inside and comfortable. The workers treat you well and with respect. Best of all they don't try to rip you off like most car places. They give you a print out of things that actually need fixed on the vehicle. They don't make things up just to rip you off. There oil change fees are very, very good n cheap. 50$ full synthetic, or 25$ blend. Couldn't of asked for better service. They even clean and wash your car, im truly shocked on how great n wonderful my experience was with them. You dont find to many places that do all this for you, for that price. It might of been mine and my gf 1st time going there, but i promise you it wont be our last. If i could rate this place 1,0000 stars i would. Thank you guys so much for helping us out.

Horrible Experience
I went in for a oil change. It took 2 hours to wait for said oil change. Their was a older gentleman who came in after me. He was offered coffee, water, conversation with the owner. I was completely ignored. Then the secretary told me everything wrong with my car and SHE OFFERED to look up prices for me and tried to get me to open a line of credit for them to work on my car. I finally grew tired of waiting and went to the desk to wait in line. A employee came out from the back and was waiting by the desk. A customer came in behind me and asked if they were open. I said I don't know and the man left. The employee approached me, said I was rude, nasty and inconsiderate to the gentleman infront of me. I am appalled by this and I will never return. Customer Service at its worst!!!

left my gas cap disconnected, let air out of tires not reading requires more air than normal car tires. way picky and right away had outrageous prices to repair offering financing. did oil change keeping my vehicle overnight because no one would stay get it done. offered discount for having overnight and never did give me one.

By far one of the worst experiences..my car was vandalized and the motor blew, unfortunately Harrells had the job to fix. They were rude with the entire process mainly the owner, Tiffany who threatened me multiple times to charge and report me because of the "storage" while I was waiting to have ANY answered met. After almost two whole months of this I their care my car returned with a broken trunk hydraulic as the idiots slammed the trunk door shut over a screwdriver wedge between the door and the hydraulic. Snapping it, my childs car seat was for some reason in the front seat and my moonroof was no longer operable as Tiffany claims they were not responsible...however they moved all my items fr the backseat where the moonroof was...to do whatever in god's name they claimed they did...as well as charged me almost 10K for the job and STILL did not complete all they claimed to do and charged me for! I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO MY WORST ENEMY.

Amateurs. They have no knowledge on how to fix a vehicle. I'm surprised they can change your oil. Which is were all the 5 star reviews come from. Find a real mechanic.

Would not recommend taking your vehicle here. Had to take vehicle back multiple times for the same problem. Took weeks to months to "fix". Broke other parts or failed to put back together properly. Paid a hefty bill for diagnosis that never told us what was wrong. Took it to another shop and had the starter replaced (which harrells said was good) spent less for that then they charged and did nothing and our vehicle is running! After speaking with them they refused to compensate or attempt to make a customer satisfied!

30 years old, have had plenty of car THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!
Its been nearly a year since they performed work on my car, not only was nothing, and I mean nothing done correctly, but after multiple attempts and having to bring my car back 4 times I refuse to let them touch my vehicle again. I have done my good deed to the community by spreading the word as well as taking my business where it's deserved and you should too. You shouldn't advertise you have "master mechanics" when clearly they are young, unprepared and not skilled enough to be performing the work that they are in the first place. This place bites off more than they can chew and thats the problem. Hopefully the owner and his wife can figure that out. These people are treading the line of having picket protesters outside their new location, sure would be a shame. Tried to resolve this issue countless times and was unhappy with how I was treated.

New location and new management, staff
We brought our Acura in at the old location. We recently had it back at the new one on Peninsula Drive. WOW. Anyone on here that felt stuff went wrong needs to check out what's changed. They have been a family business all along, but the father is retired now and the son with his wife have taken it up a notch. The waiting room is off the hook. I brought my son and it was like we were at a friend's house visiting. The unreal part?? THEY WASHED MY CAR!! I am a customer for life. You can focus on a poor experience, but honestly? They're human like me and you, and they are getting right WAY more than wrong. Highly recommended ? well done Harrells

Zero stars
I am 61 years old and Harroll automotive was the worst repair experience in all my life! Four attempts and over $5000.00, still had to take elsewhere. Meanwhile I had to listen to the old man brag about how good they were!

Great service good people
They spent days trying to figure out why the dealership said I needed a whole new ABS system for my car. I recently had brakes put on at the dealership...still acting touchy that’s why I went originally. The dealership said it wasn’t very safe to drive. LIES!! Harrell Automotive found the problem and saved us $2,200.00 I have found our new car repair people!! Can’t thank them enough!

Worst and most expensive garage ever
Such a long story I'll try to condense. They were very friendly and warm but WOW. I needed a flexplate replaced and ebrake cables. First of allthey didn't order the parts together so I had to visit twice. Very very slow. When I was getting the flexplate put in I was shocked they wanted 2400$ to do it but then as they were puting my brake cables in the second visit I was told I needed rear rotors hardware and obviously pads. The tranission was leaking from the first time they worked on it so they would find out why it was leaking while they installed my ebrake cables. No charge. Ok cool. Turns out new rotors, ebrake cable and hardware costs 1400$ somehow. ? The excuse was they were fighting rust. Sorry I work on locomotives I know about rust, I wanted parts replaced not polished. Anyhow. I was told one of the seals in my tranny was leaking "not on us" "it wasn't one of the ones we replaced" so when I asked to see the bad rotors. Their mechanic told me it was in fact the seal they replaced. He just put it too far in because they didn't have the tools or specs first time around. Now they do. So I caught the management person in a lie. Obviously. Now a month later after all this crap. My truck is ticking again just like it did when I first took it in for a new flexplate. Did they torque the bolts to spec or did they not have the specs again.? Very disappointed for poor work at a mountain of cost. I know they will find some excuse for this horrible service but hand on the Bible. I was taken. Seems to me they needed to make some extra cash for reworking bad service the first time around. Now I am out 3800$ for new rotors,ebrake cables brake pads (2) and a lightbulb for my license plate. Because a month later my truck sounds just like the day I took it in. I'm upset j have to write this review because they truly were sweet talking people and very kind. But I guess that only goes so far.

Inspetion Plus
Needed inspection plus 50,000 mi. checks and some other work done on my Patriot. Mike Houston did a great job and they kept me updated all the way through. I knew what was needed and why before any work was done. The staff is very friendly and I discovered hot chocolate with coffee mate peppermint mocha! Thanks for a job well done.
