I had maintenance for life, but unfortunately when the car is getting older or near the warranty expiration the sketchiness of the Jim Click Hyundai Automall Service Center on Automall Drive in Tucson, AZ presented itself. For example, I noticed some rough idling with my vehicle so I looked around to see what it could be. One of the things I found is that not having the oil changed can lead to idling problems. Upon learning this, I decided to check the engine oil on my vehicle about a few thousand miles from the previous oil change. I was due for an oil change in about 4000 more miles, according to service interval sticker.
After checking, I found that the oil was nearly black and well below the low oil line on the dipstick. Rather than take my car back to JC service center to have them correct the problem, I went to another service center and paid around 40 bucks for an oil change.
To my surprise, I was informed by the new service mechanic that my oil had not been changed or replenished, however I did get a new oil filter replacement. In my case, it is confirmed that the Jim Click Service mechanics did not change the oil or add new oil. Because of this, I am concerned whether or not my tires have been rotated. Also, I am concerned whether or not all the other services that go with the maintenance for life pkg. have been performed.
Sadly, my trust in Jim Click Hyundai Automall service center is at 0%. I am reluctant to return to the service center anymore because of such a betrayal. All I can tell anyone now, is just double check whether or not the mechanics from Jim Click Hyundai Automall are actually performing the work that they say they are doing. Check your oil after you receive an oil change; make sure the oil is not black or that the dipstick is not showing that the oil is low. Make sure your tires were actually rotated, too.
It's a real shame for me because my car is having idle issues now and I'm not sure what other damage has been done to my vehicle for driving on low unchanged oil for so long. Thank you for your time in reading. I'd suggest an investigation into the Jim Click Hyundai Service Center to see vehicles are being sabotaged.
