I'm new to the York area so I was a bit apprehensive when looking for a mechanic to service my older vehicles.
Let's face it, most of us know little about handling repairs on our vehicles and we need the expert advice of someone we can trust.
Through the referral of a family friend, I was introduced to Alex, Dale and the gang of Jim's Auto Repair and they were a real gem to find.
They have integrity, which is rare these days! Great group to deal with at a reasonable cost and are more than happy to explain any procedure needed for your vehicle and make suggestions for safety and reliability as well and without an attitude...
My vehicle was inspected at the time they promised and I was called when completed. I was so happy with the service that I had them inspect my second vehicle with the same results. They do NOT oversell or look for problems...
Jim's is the only place I'll deal with from now on and I highly suggest you give them a try. You will NOT be disappointed.

Horrible
You returned my car with a visible crack on the windshield that was NOT there where I dropped it. In fact, you didn’t even mention it to me or in your report. When I informed you, you said that you didn’t see. I can’t believe that since you did an inspection and changed my windshield wiper.

Reliable and reasonable
Great service at fair prices. Been that way for generations at this local garage.
Cody said he went in for an oil change, he wanted to bring it in because his vehicle was making a weird noise. It was quick and easy, and he was in and out in no time.
I move from Baltimore to York PA , and try several repair places, this was far the best one. I had more than 3 vehicles service at Jim and never have I been disappointed with the service or the people that work there. They explained all the worked needed before I had it done The outcomes me was always good.
